Egg nog beer or beer cocktails?

    Are their any egg nog flavored beers? Or does that flavor just fall under Christmas/holiday/winter warmer?

    Also, has anyone every made a beer/egg nog cocktail? Would that even work?

    Maybe a milk stout brewed with nutmeg might be egg nog-ish- I might even try that. I don't know about mixing beer with egg nog though...blech

    No. No, no, no. Stick to putting in too much Glenfiddich. Nog is too sweet for beer.

    I had a bottle last year and it wasn't that exciting. There was a little egg nog flavor but not a lot to the beer itself. That being said I would try it again if the price was right for the bomber.

    I would try an egg nog beer if it was a stout. And i really dislike egg nog. Every beer gets a chance at least once

    I wouldn't hate a Brewer for attempting this. Yet I wouldn't purchase, even out of Curiosity. Ehh..I might for a 3 oz. serving.

    Egg Nog Beer? Sounds disgusting but different strokes for different folks. Besides, hasn't DFH, Clown Shoes, Rogue or one of the many other off-center breweries already done one?

    The average score of the 12 beers listed here with at least 1 rating is surprisingly high at 3.82. Most of the beers have very few reviews, but I'd definitely try an eggnog stout given the chance. Apparently eggnog beer does work!
