    I don't believe they will ever leave Torrance. I think this is the expansion they have been planning. It seems it will have some differentiation from Smog as it is called: Smog City Brewing-Steelcraft.

    @LauriePorter perhaps you can add some information here? Or shall you hire me to be in charge of marketing :wink:

    Oh crap. I just assumed a 2nd location. Didn't even consider them shuttering Torrance.
    @LauriePorter?
    Please tell me Torrance isn't going anywhere!!

    The notice states "small beer manufacturing duplicate", wouldn't that mean that they're keeping the original location?

    I went back for a second visit (I was thoroughly unimpressed my first time there) and was pleasantly surprised. The High Five is spectacular. I grabbed a couple of bottles to bring home to Texas with me.

    That was my least favorite last time I went. And its called Hive Five (get it? like bees). I really like the kumquat saison.

    You're right! I must have misheard the bartender when he mentioned it to me. I really enjoyed it - it reminded me of a special release local brew from Deep Ellum Brewing here in Dallas called Pollinator Bock.

    This is what makes Smog City such a great up and coming brewery. They make a wide range of beers, so there is something for everyone.

    Do I like everything they make? no.

    But beers like: Infinite Wishes, Goldie, and Bourbon OE will keep me coming back.

    I also like most of their IPA's (including Steamfunk Bret ) and most of their Red Ales ( including Hive Five )

    Smog City on IG says it's a satellite taproom and they "would never leave Torrance"

    I really like this trend of breweries opening new satellite tap rooms/company stores in various locations. The availability to go taste great beer locally and grab more growlers can't be beat.

    That's what make Smog City and craft beer in general so great. Anyone that says they don't like beer just hasn't been given the right beer yet.

    And Long Beach will be a taproom, no brewing; growler fills, bottles and pints. Probably spring and they are looking for employees so if interested ...

    Hopefully this means they're going the BPT route from now on. Would have been nice to see them handle Cuddlebug the same way.
