Fantastic as it's always been! They should have plenty to last a couple weeks on tap.

 

Was there Think Tank?

 

Ah yes! Think Tank #7 was pouring as well.

man I was thinking of picking up a dirty hippie t this time around. but Citra glassware would be a nice addition too.

 

yeah, that was pretty well run. Ended up getting more than enough of it on draft. Growler fills were Hop nookie, the porter, black rock and the usual staples.

Didn't get too crowded at opening and the staggered the folks in to get tables and pours.



The likelihood of other bottles being there are probably going to be limited to Pumpkin, some JO and maybe shuttle bunny. But they were going fast today and the local stores just had Pumpkin left. So yeah, probably going to be cleaned out of most everything come Saturday.

 

Was definitely hoping to come back with a couple of bottles of Shuttle Bunny. But if not, I'll survive.

 

Here now and citra is flowing. Hop nookie, think tank #7, pumpkin, porter and gravity check are on tap. Bottles of jo, pumpkin, bunny and gravity check in the fridge.

 

About to make this drive...again! See y'all there in the morning.

 

Saw some Untappd check-ins saying that Citra was 2 pint limit. Doesn't bother me at all. I don't think I've ever had 3 glasses of the same beer in one session. Just seems like overkill to me.

If by chance this batch is THAT good may just have the GF get my third.

That's exactly what I was thinking. There are so many beers I want to try from them where I can't see myself drinking that many Citra's. Plus I hate drinking samplers so it's all full pours for me.

 

Yup. They do that from time to time when Citra is on. It's fine by me.

It would have been more fun if they had just opened, and had the bottles of citra in the frig with no mention on any forum. It would still sell out without the hoopla. BA would shut down with all the action once word got out. Next time maybe.

 

VERY STRICT two pint Citra limit on draft. Would have been nice if they had if they had announced the limit in advance ... especially for those of us that drove 400 miles for their beer.. Awesome beer ... **** policy, especially unannounced. Never again.
