Not from the actual Barrel-Aged Series, but close enough. Releasing 12/13:

"We are overjoyed to introduce the 2nd installment of our Botanicals & Barrels series, Vanilla Bean Stout!

A double dose of vanilla derived from both fresh Bourbon barrels and the trio of Tongan, Ugandan, and Mexican whole vanilla beans is complemented by essences of chocolate, caramel, and molasses to round out this luxuriously silky stout. 10.8 alc/vol and available year-round in 22oz bombers.

After the brewery release in CO, bottles will make their way to AZ, CA, GA, IL, KS, KY, MA, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NM, NY, OH, OK, PA, SC, VA, WA, WI, and WY."

    It's a
Not yet, but I like the Poblano stout. It tastes like a coffee stout.

Out a couple weeks ago and it was posted a couple days ago that it's still available at the brewery

Old Perseverance is definitely up my alley. Anyone know how long they plan to keep those 12/8 bottles before selling 'em?

Curious to see a sale announced for this one as well, may have to make the drive up as I love old ales... This is my favorite time of year for Avery with all the malty goodness releasing.

Looks awesome. Maybe an extreme version of old jubilation. I tried some old ales at GABF year that really opened my eyes to the potential of this style.

What was 31? I think Vallum (No. 30) was the last one to get released.

That's the one I was thinking. Never looked up the number.

Sounds like a Black Eye situation. 31 isn't ready maybe?

On a related note, it's cool to see Fate is taking over the alley.

I assume they are just gonna use the brewhouse and keep their current restaurant?

Glad to hear a neighboring brewery bought the alley and it's not going to be "repurposed". Lots of fun memories in that joint.

Old Perseverance sounds awesome. Love me some old ales and you don't find many barrel aged versions around these parts.

I can't stop wondering what No. 31 is though. Anyone having any luck finding a label on the interwebz?

That....is...interesting? I'll probably buy a bottle or two, but I'm skeptical of peppers, syrup, tequila and barleywine all mixed up.

Lol at this description: "Taste: Tastes like overly salted roasted red pepper hummus in liquid form, like if you left a container of Tribe in the fridge for too long and drank the questionable pool of condensation floating on top. I'm not tasting any cilantro which is disappointing. It's still drinkable though, I'm not viscerally disgusted. Aftertaste is like that of a forgettable pre-made chipotle chicken wrap from the grocery store."

The barleywine style is different. Though if it's English style and more malty than hoppy it might work out. Agave syrup isn't all that sweet but should add a little bit. This could be on the sticky side.
I think they use mainly Suerte tequila barrels. It's an alright tequila , but some of the beers they aged in them have turned out real well.

This sounds a little too far out there for me to pay Avery BA prices for. Maybe I'll try it if someone brings it to a share, but I've given up completey on Avery sours and it's looking like that may start applying to all their gold tops...
