Hey all, I'm going to be in Montana for the Nov. 27 Bourbon County Stout release. This might be a long shot, but does anyone know if this has ever been available in Bozeman, Montana? If so, where? Thanks!
We had many, many multiple cases in Western MT last year, and it's coming again this year. Not sure about Bozeman, but I'm sure it will be there too.
It will be in Missoula and kalispell. Maybe try getting ahold of Cardinal distributing there and see if they will be getting it. It normally sticks around for a little while too.
Thanks, guys! I'll reach out to Cardinal and see if they're getting some. I can't make it to Missoula, unfortunately.
Slurry_B, If you'll be in the Bozeman area, Vino Per Tutti will have a few cases. I've got a few bottles of it waiting for me on Friday!
Thanks, bozemanbeerdrinker. I called Cardinal and it looks like Craft Beer Cellar is also getting some, too, FYI. I'm planning to drive up from Ennis to get there when it opens. By the way, I'm a bit out of the loop, is there any good local beer I should pick up while I'm at it?
Vino Per Tutti and Craft Beer Cellar in Bozeman Ivan the Terrible is the best bottled MT imperial stout, Tumbleweed IPA and Prickly Pear Pale Ale are very good, ColdSmoke is the most popular Scotch ale, I always grab whatever Big Bad Baptist I can find at Craft Beer Cellar when I make my way up from Billings too
Hops had it on tap. Maybe still do. You'll have to get ahold of flathead beverage about bottles. I guess something happened with shipping so to be determined.
Montana has an abv cap on beer @ 14%... all the cases that showed up in Billings were the 14.3% instead of the 13.7% and got sent back... the new shipment should be here end of next week
Update: Just went to Brix in Kalispell and they don't have it. Hopefully the ABV was the issue and the 13.7% shows up soon.
Not far away, but I spotted BCBS in Jackson Hole this weekend. It was 13.7%, which I've never seen before. They had plenty of it. I don't recall the name of the liquor store, but it's right next door to the Albertson's close to the Hampton Inn just south of town.
Gotta love Wyoming! Went to two places in Evanston today that still had cases of BCBS. Bought 10. $8.65/each
Bought a few bottles at Cowboy Joe's in Evanston last week. Can't beat that $8.65 price! The long bearded cowboy (Joe?) at check out told me he didn't even want any of that Bud crap. Said he's trying to get rid of it because they have so many better imperial stouts for sale... okay dude
