Obvious and cliche but Busch Light. I can't get that piss water down.

If we're talking about craft, Midwestern Pale Ale. I LOVE Bell's but that stuff has to go. I had it at a concert once and it was a struggle.

Bintang in Indonesia. A cheap knock-off of Budweiser, which is already terrible...

Indra Kunindra comes to mind. I'm sure I can find some redeeming qualities in there but the thought of it makes me cringe to this day.

Pliny the Elder was the 2nd drainpour I've ever done, but I like Pliny quite a bit. I had a bottle of it a month after the bottle date, and it was disgusting. It really needs to be drank fresh.

(My 1st drainpour was Andersen Valley's Boont Barl - I don't know if it was too old or it's supposed to taste like that? I got all sorts of sour/vinegary notes and I was like WTF?)

Probably my first three batches of homebrew in '96 - they were from kits and they included dry yeast packets. Vegetative taste. I'd hate to have to taste them now.

Commercially - I'm not sure. Any American Standard Lager above 40 or 45 degrees tends to be a horrible experience from my perspective. As much as I love Brooklyn Brewery products, the second or third year I bought the Black Chocolate Stout it just wasn't right, not sure why - it'd been fine other years. Maybe a mishandled case.

And, of course, there's that time at Brigg's Farm Blues Festival when Lori and I ran out of Guinness and followed it with Lord Chesterfield Ale. An absolutely vicious turn of events.

Not Your Father's Root Beer is the only straight 1s across the board I've ever given. It was disgusting and one of my few drain pours and by far the quickest drain pour.

Agreed; one sip and it was an immediate drain pour.

Boulevard Funky Pumpkin, my first drain pour. My bad for not reading the label as it says sour. To me it was sour like vinegar.

I'm sure this has been documented in this thread...good ole Boatswain IPA sold at Trader Joes. That is some swill for sure.

Aside from regular macro beer hate... I had a Boulder Slope Style IPA, and wow. It had no redeeming qualities.

Aww, I love that beer. Do you like cucumbers?

Edit: That's really not a question I thought I'd ask anyone... ever

Burton Bridge Empire India Pale Ale and Orval. Both heavily revered, but as far as this a-hole is concerned, both heavily band-aided... beyond the point of no return. Super dust jacket.

Founders Redankulous. Tasted like medicine and plastic. I ordered another beer and the bartender insisted on taking it off my tab when he poured himself a sample and tried it. Mind you, this was at a bar that has 25+ craft taps and a serious bottle list.

For non-craft, the most vile beer I've ever tried was Raspberry Shocktop. Tasted like artificial berry flavor and ass.
