This is the Katella entertainment row that has been envisioned for a long time.

Don't forget Noble's first year was not good at all. Yes GR started off big here in LA. Pushing out their below sub par beers. The tasting room was nice. It's been 4 years with some improvement. They can only get better. Can they? Time will tell. OC will be losing one brewery soon but gaining big with that lost. There a lot of sub par brewery's amongst few really good brewery's. GF is big enough to move their beers to other states with InBev. Will other states take to their beers? Time will tell.

Can't say yet. Not until it's official. In the works right now. But the news might be out by the end of this year.

Too close to home. I'm surprised some of you guys haven't heard the rumors. This could be huge.

On the 14 going home from Kernville. Big weekend.

I've heard them, but instead of teasing everybody I just haven't mentioned it. I'm sure it will come out soon enough.

Well then, I guess it's time to start the BREWERY DEATH WATCH! Unless that's an offensive endeavor, then it will never be time.

Anyhow, I visited the Golden Road Anaheim taproom during a visit down to Orange County this weekend. I didn't get any tacos but I had the brandy barrel aged Back Home gingerbread stout, it was pretty decent. I'm sure if Golden Road didn't have all that baggage or if it came from some other brewery, people would go nuts over that beer.

Don't worry it's a brewery that no one cared about anyway.

I doubt it's Bootlegger's. IMO they seem to be doing ok in the sales dept. Not great, but doing. But then again, I'm not privy to their numbers.

Bootleggers may not knock our socks off.. or even give us a decent kunckle sandwich anymore, but that rustic rye is their bread and butter. Much like Citra for Kern River may be their big hit for beer fans, but Sequoia red is their big winner with locals. So yeah, I don't Bootleggers is on the list.

My money is on Beach City or Old Orange but I wouldn't be surprised if any of the brewpubs like Stadium, Newport Beach or HB calls it quits.

Although I heard from a 2nd hand source that Old Orange recently got bought buy some small distributor. So who the heck knows.

None of this speculation sounds 'huge.'

To follow on to this again, I spoke to the folks at Tony's again yesterday. As of January 1st, GRB will be gone from their taps. It's no longer a California-owned craft brewery so they won't be carrying their stuff anymore.

I also heard the rumors, but i'm not telling you guys (jk, that's not cool lol)

yea any time i've had the chance to take a bit of a detour and stop at Noble, even through the often ridiculous traffic around santa ana, I have.. i can't see myself choosing GR over that never ever
