    Hey everyone,

I am coming to the SEC Championship game the weekend of the 4th. I will be flying in Thursday night, and looking to do a small share of a few bottles that Friday. I'll be staying in the Buckhead area, so the Porter seems to be one of the better places to do a share. I have some cycle stuff, Nooner 10, Lost Dos, Pallet 3, FB Mornignwood, and will have probably some other stuff by then (AB resolute, HF growlers, NE IPA's). Would love to bring some of my beers to share with some of the great Atlanta BA's. if any interest in this, let me know. if you know a beter location, I would be down for that too, as I have Friday earmarked to just hang out and drink some good beer. Cheers!

Have you checked to make sure the Porter is okay ?

It's a small and ususlly crowded spot in midtown- and most places won't allow bottle shares.

    If so- sounds fun!

Yeah, the Porter will be really busy... I'm not sure they would be thrilled with a bottle share on a Friday night.... Id call ahead.

I don't see Porter, Brick Store or any beer bars allowing a bottle share on a Friday night. That being said I would be interested in attending a bottle share.

guys i am not looking to do this on a Friday night. I am not that naive to think it wont be slammed, especially during SEC weekend. realistically, i am looking for 1-3 guys to bring 1-2 bottles around lunchtime and do something really small, before happy hour even begins. Hell, we can meet in the hotel i am staying at if the Porter will not allow that during lunchtime.

Buy food, share your pours, tip your waitstaff. You should be fine. Brick Store is in my neighborhood so I have the most experience with opening stuff there. Afternoon time you should be fine

If you stick to lunchtime you should not have an issue at Porter. Buy a few pours, plan to eat a meal (or at least order) food and you'll be fine.

The owners, Molly and Nick, are usually around. Never hurts to ask before you crack open a bottle.
