I will try to set something up but I don't think any of you guys are anywhere close to Buffalo, NY. I know Voodoo is about 3 hours away from my house if some of you PA folks want to do something down there. When I get an accepted offer on the new house, I'll post a LIF to make up for the drop out
@LehighAce06, myself and several others are in the Plymouth Meeting / King of Prussia area. I'd be down to bring some bottle's depending on the location.
It looked like he was referring to at Voodoo's brewery or in that area, which is near Pittsburgh. Unfortunately I don't anticipate getting to Pittsburgh for a bottleshare anytime soon, but if any of you are coming through the greater Philadelphia area, drop us a line.
I'm the worst. Targets really are done I just have to spend the time to open up a bunch of BMs. I have to sit around my house a few hours tomorrow for the cable guy to come out so there's zero reason I won't get to this then.
You aren't the worst. Thanks again for putting in all the work that you have so far. You deserve a beer!
Just got all the names together and used random.org to pick the next target in the GIF. I am looking at the targets wants and I filled the growler with a want! perfect. So I am going to try to pack it up tonight and get it out.
Another thing I've been slacking on a bit is the killshot from the share @Greeny87 hosted on Sunday. Was a great time, nice to see him and @ohyeahitsmuff again, and make some new friends on and off BA. Great food, great beer, and most importantly some great people to spend an afternoon with. The growler, courtesy of @Elkevjoe, was Four Roses Bourbon Barrel Aged Hippy Sippy from Fat Head's. Excellent barrel aged stout, wonderful balance between the base beer and the barrel treatment, and the growler despite being a few weeks old held up beautifully. That thing is a beast, by the way, I pulled it from the fridge at 11AM, popped it open around 2PM, and at 7PM it not only still had carb but it was still cold like it had just come out of the fridge, unreal. I had to literally fight Andrew before he'd let me take it home to return to Kevin, and even then he threatened to break into my house and steal it back. And no, I'm not sharing how I managed to best someone that does crossfit for a living while being as out of shape as I am, you'll all just have to believe it happened. Also, not pictured were a couple cans of Westbrook IPA to accompany the One Claw, as well as another Juilius and a couple more Headys, apparently cans aren't treated too nicely at bottleshares.
That's pretty awesome. How many of you all took those down? I've never been to a true share (product of living in a city originally planned as a retirement community) but that seems quite impressive.
love the kill shot. looks like I only missed the wanderer and abyss by leaving early. such a good share. Edit: @Yourahoser there were about 12 people. Not all were drinking everything.
I have em , been lazy on packin the box, I have to do it in the next day or two and get in on the move to......................
And Vanilla Hunter was at the very end as well. What @ohyeahitsmuff said about attendance, unlike a Saturday night "how many couches do you have?" bottleshare, almost everyone had to drive themselves home (I got picked up and there were a couple significant others that were taking it easy) but overall we did some good work and there was VERY little left behind.
