    I really hope the line is back to normal. Going to head in early to be safe.

    Know people said it shouldn't be too bad but would suck to find out the hard way

    agree. might just hit the taproom thurs/friday if its on. if i end up going for cans i'm just going to hope its back to the regular releases and show up around 11

    If I had to bet on it, I'd say there's no way in hell Saturday's line will come remotely close to the last release. Hop Showers almost never sells out the day of release, and excitement over Simcoe seems mild to moderate at best.

    Hopefully Simcoe is on Wednesday or Thursday night so I can give it a try before deciding whether to get cans. Not a huge fan of Hop Showers, so my decision to go will be based on how Simcoe turns out.

    I've never had Hop Showers. Could someone describe it for me? I probably will trek in Saturday as I think I need to try everything Other Half does and then figure out what can releases I really care about.

    It's a solid ipa with some some citrus and pine. The body is nice and it's got a little bit of that OH abrasiveness. It's not as complex or interesting as some of their other offerings and I find that nice.

    Not sure if you will be in NYC in the next few days but saw Street Green today on tap at Good Beer and Lupulo. Neither will do growler fills though.

    I'm having my last Green Diamonds can from the October canning and I find that it's really fallen off from when it's fresh. Has anyone else noticed this?

    I find it to be the most drinkable of their regular IPAs, in that, I drank an entire 64 oz growler of it once and didn't die.
    Not sure I'd try that with GD or AGE :astonished:

    But yeah... nice citrus and pine, and definitely more mellow and balanced than those other two beasts.

    I wouldn't doubt it. The last batch of All Green Everything tasted like hoppy pineapple juice the first week. By the time it was two weeks old the booze and the malt were becoming a lot more apparent.

    It's crazy how fast certain beers fall off.

    No problem. They release cans every other Saturday and most of the time they sell out that day. On some occasions they make it to Sunday.
