I doubt it will be less than the $200 from last year. Only way it is cheaper is if bottles are not included or they switch to a 'pay for pours' model.

I thought last year was a bit pricey, but in the end I really liked the all-inclusive model and hope they stick with that. If I would change anything, it would be to drop the price slightly and bring food trucks. Food was not great last year.

I did not even bother getting in the food line. It was much longer than the beer lines. Luckily, I brought my wife who had the foresight to bring a backpack cooler and packed waters and sandwiches in it.

I agree on the food, but it was a good idea for last year because it eliminated the space needed for food trucks and extra lines for those. I have no issue if it's $200 again with pay for food trucks, as long as they keep the crowd reasonable. Both the 3 floyds night and angry chair anniversary were awesome, mostly because of the smaller size crowds. I'll gladly pay more to have smaller lines and less crowded space.

Just read on FB that Mazurt was just invited back. He had some of the best beers last year... pretty pumped.

Toppling Goliath confirmed on Twitter they're going... not a surprise, but awesome! Maybe some Assassin / MD??? Know they're brewing Assassin for release next year.

I don't think theres any word yet but does anyone with local knowledge of the new venue think that this will be bigger than last year (more people able to buy tickets)? thanks, looking forward to it

My husband and I waited in that Toppling Goliath line last year for some stout. It was OK but definitely not worth the wait. There were so many other beers I enjoyed more with no line at all.

I hope not. The small crowd was a big part of the draw last year. Less crowds, shorter lines, more beer. I think there were 2500 tickets last year. The more you go up in crowd from there, the less people will want to pay the high ticket price. You should be able to grab a ticket with 2500 available. More than that starts to become a fucking zoo with long lines, empty kegs when you finally get to the front of the line, and pissed off customers. Leave Huna Day small.

I'm thinking the more tickets, the cheaper the price

It's amazing when 2500 is considered "small", but yeah the crowd wasn't big other than the fact that it was put into a space that's not quite large enough for it.

After it was over I went back to my hotel and started going through the booklet (a great little piece of swag that far eclipsed what most festivals hand out; one of the little things that helped make it feel special) and there were so many breweries I didn't even make it to! The amount of beer there was just astronomical.

The back CCB tent was amazing. Rum Zhukov, Brandy Huna, DB Huna, Leon. I spent the better part of two hours in that line just getting multiple pours of each. That rum Zhukov was just phenomenal!

Exactly what I was thinking. Besides a couple breweries having long lines due to hype, there was no problems getting a beer. Hell, you could walk right up to Kane's tent and get pours of ANTEAD and Sunday Brunch all day last year.

Important fact from the El Catador FB page:

    El Catador Club
Expect ticket sales for Hunahpu's Day to take place during the remainder of El Catador Club #2 (12/31)

So ticket sales for El Catador members (who have first dibs) will take place before the end of the year

So tickets go on sale 12/31 for el catador members?
