Cycle/ccb bottle releases

I'm just glad they (Cycle) are close enough that I can drive up and drink whatever is on tap. Sucks it's cash only, always need to hit the bank on the way. If I forget cash, at least there are almost 3 dozen other breweries within 30 minutes of them.
I love BEER BAY!!!!!!!! (Tampa Bay with beer, get it?)

Tons of hazelnut and hints of chocolate in this one. Wow.

that's exactly what it is.

 

Might actually be the new base stout they have been doing that was used in the rye whiskey barrels. Tasted a little more chocolaty to me.

 

could be. i was referring mostly to the taste being nooner 8 + cacao nibs.

 

Delish. Not as sweet as N8, which IMO is a good thing.

 

Like always...I agree with Mxracercam. Awesome beer. Not as thick as most other Cycle stouts but so smooth and easy drinking. By far the smoothest cycle stout since DCB Dos. Don't even notice the alcohol (till you'be finished a sniffer and try to stand up). Not as sweet as Nooner 8 or the overpowering Hazelnut aroma as Nooner 8. But an added chocolate note.

Definitely in my top 5 from Cycle. DCB Dos, Wednesday, 4 Rose BA Rye, Hazelnut, and Lost Dos

 

Son of a bitch. I'm off and could have driven over if I had heard earlier. I'm over an hour away and would never make it at this point

 

Any word on the count or number of barrels?

 

492 is the number I heard thrown around. Which is in line with most Cycle releases (under 500 bottles)

 

Should last a little longer with two bottle limit

Tastes like hazelnut chocolate cake in a glass. The mouth feel is perfect for me too. Very drinkable..

 

Still going strong. Also it's pretty great.
