These days, my Solemn Oath snifter has been my go to for pretty much everything. This holiday season, however, I've dug out the Libbey Craft Brews Set I received as a gift from my girlfriend my first Christmas here. (You know the one.) Besides being practical, it's nostalgic for me. Now, I just need that SA Winter Variety Pack to complete it.

I'm an Imperial pint Nonic guy. The only time I switch that up is for beers that belong in a snifter, and then I usually go for the bigger tulip.

Can you pour beer into the bottom area? It looks like it's full of beer but the internet site (Pretentious Beer Glass Company) says it"s hollow. Not sure if that means beer can or can't be poured.

I'm a little bummed! The glass itself is identical to the Fulton branded one that is my own favorite, and I had planned on sending one over to you - but on the other hand I'm glad you've got one to enjoy! That's my very favorite style of glass. Perfect for just about everything.

Yes. The bottom part ("stem", for lack of a better term) holds beer. Note the color change; it's a lighter color because more light gets through, that's why the color changes from the primary, wider section, to the stem.

EDIT - the very bottom part is solid glass, so no beer can go there (as you can see in my image on the first page of this thread). Perhaps that is what your question was...

    Hopefully, that answers your question.

Also, as noted before, the Sauvin Glass is about 5 1/2" tall and holds about 16oz. The image I took had a full 16oz can of Surly Furious in it.

I switch around. Tulip (in 10 or 14 oz size), Teku, snifter, Spiegelau stout glass; depends on the beer.

Too kind of you good sir! :sunglasses: We'll have to work on a glass exchange after the holidays. One thing I have learned about this hobby/passion we all all share - you can never have, want or need too much glassware!

TeKu or tulip. TeKu from Other Half is probably my favorite.

I'm obviously quite biased, but my go-to for any situation is a B Cup. Yes, it's plastic. No, it doesn't smell at all like plastic.

I have no idea where to get more, but I have some globe-style glasses with the lip out-turned. They were labeled as margarita glasses, but they don't really look like any others I've seen. They're great for nearly everything. I have 4 left and I love 'em.
EDIT: They look a bit like this:

I have a Long Trail tulip I like quite a lot. There are a few shakers I rotate constantly. My Henniker Brewing laser etched one, my Genesee 12 Horse Shaker, and one from Brew NH, an organization that promotes New Hampshire breweries.
