Grimm of the Future

I personally like having cans so I can try a few with my brother in NJ, he never gets up to the city so I enjoy sharing the experience with him. I also like having them in my fridge to enjoy when I want in the comfort of my own home. If I don't get cans at the end of the day its not a huge deal for me. Like you said at least I can try it on tap all over the city.

I do think its a very misguided opinion to think that everyone wants cans just to trade.

 

Cans are by far the best option for me. Not hitting the bars like I used to and it's nice to enjoy it in the privacy of my apartment.

 

Sure, if you just want to try a beer once you can grab it at a bar. I love these Grimm beers though and ideally I could buy cans to stock my fridge. Drinking beer after work at home is easier, and cheaper, than going to a bar. If Tesseract and Afterimage were readily available you can be sure I'd always have a 4-pack of each stashed in my fridge.

 

Cans (or growlers if available) are best for me as well.

I like to hopefully share my can purchases with my brother-in-law. Also with 2 kids at home I try to get home right away from work and enjoy beers at home. Sometimes it tough with meetings to head out for lunch to bar with something on tap.

 

Would be amazing to have it regularly available. It's almost gotten to that point with OH's Green Diamonds, and I'm loving it.

 

Im working my ass off, as in for a living. I dont have much time to go hunting 2 cans of beer as much as I would love to have said beer. I do have other responsibilities, unfortunately.

 

I like having cans. I like bringing them to shares, and I like drinking at my leisure too. I guess my point was unclear. If your end all be all is to try the beer, its pretty easy. If someone lurking buys more cans because they saw it in this thread, its not like they are scooping up all 300 bottles of some uber rare release that no one else gets to try. It just forces us to seek out a less convenient format. Dare I say "it's just beer?"

And I apologize, my implication that every single person who wants cans is trying to amass a war chest to trade for BVDL+DBH was supposed to be tongue in cheek.

 

Haha if they want to deliver it to my house then I will not fight back!

Sounds like a good event. I'm actually off work Friday so I'm thinking about making the trip tomorrow. Anyone else going?

Just checked out a couple of spots, to no avail. The Carton Sit Down Son cans gave me a bit of a false start though. Somewhat of a doppelganger.

 

I just heard from Union that not many are going out today. The bulk of deliveries will happen tomorrow and friday. -Joe

 

Any chance this false start took place while peering in the window of the walk in at Beer Table in Grand Central?

If the answer is yes, I did the same damn thing this morning.

Yeah I just talk to the guys at Brouwerij Lane and they said either tomorrow or possibly Tuesday. All depending on Union Distro.
