Hop Diggity double IPA from Mother Earth. Tastes like tropical candy with a dank finish.

Seems like it's cool to drink straight from the can, but I never see anyone drinking straight from a bottle (other than some dramatic "bomber-to-the-dome"-type pics :sunglasses:)

Listening to Japan's Loudness' Thunder in the East album, so jam-packed with 80's metal goodness, I wish I could post all of the great tunes I just heard... Here's a few...

    Cheers, BA...

I had a 2013 bottle of this about a month ago or so and it was the best barleywine I've ever had. This beer ages in ways that I wish other beers could.

I just moved here to Vermont this past Spring and missed the bottles of this. To me, I think the cans are wonderful for the style, but it ain't no Heady or PtE. Cheers!

I wish I would have gotten it in cans. I drank 2-3 bottles within the first week or so of buying it and have had 1 bottle since. This is a beer that falls of pretty quickly. I really liked this beer fresh. It tasted pretty similar to Grey Sail's Captain's Daughter. It aged like it too.

Hey nerds, how's it going? I'm drinking s bottle of Von Trapp Trösten right now, kind of a smoked schwarzbier. It's really, really tasty, and fits the bill for a relatively light, drinkable lager that feels appropriate for the fall and winter.

Before that was a bottle of Ithaca's excellent DIPA Pacific Gravity. I didn't get to post last night, but I had a couple of Zero Gravity pints with a grad school/archaeologist friend at the Mule Bar in Winooski: Mosaic Blonde (excellent) and No Hefex (pretty good). And the night before, I had a couple of beers with a high school friend who lives in town: the above-mentioned Trösten, Ballast Point's Calm Before the Storm, and Burlington Beer Co.'s "blonde stout," Juxtaposition. And that beer is, unfortunately *not good*. It's all oak, and not in a good way. Ah, well . . . they can't all be winners, right?

But right now, this Trösten is doing me right. Hope you're all having a nice evening. Saude, galera!
