Pittsburgh - New Beers & Local Breweries

Did that post 130 pages ago happen to mention whether or not they fill growlers, Shuggy?

I only ask because I'm thinking of starting a separate thread - "Pittsburgh gas stations that offer growler fills"

I don't believe gas stations fill growlers yet, but Draai Laag definitely does.

 

I did notice a sign at the Robinson GetGo that said they'd be getting 18 cases each of BCBS & each of the variants.

In real news: Insurrection posted that they passed their AHD inspection & got the okay to open their doors. They'll be posting a date this Friday, which will most likely be next week or the following.

 

Read it for yourself then continue with whatever jackassery you feel is necessary.

 

Has anyone had anything from them yet?

 

No but I'm excited to try. I've heard good things.

I'll even be willing to drive to Heidelberg (so long as I don't have to cross a bridge and traffic isn't too bad)

 

I tracked down that post. It doesn't mention whether they do or not. I didn't see any taps when I was there yesterday, but I plan to return with an empty growler anyway & just keep my fingers crossed that I'll walk out with it full of Bourbon County variants.

Also - no, I haven't had anything from Insurrection.

 

Bridges and traffic are one thing, but tunnels...

 

Can we carpool or something?

 

I am a little late on this one but MD Waterworks had the Dragon's Milk Variants as of two days ago.

Had PA tuxedo on tap at DFH a while back before bottling. Pretty tasty. Definitely spruce-y if that's a word.
