Looks like Simcoe is on at the taproom tonight.

Street Green is amazing. I fortunately live spitting distance from Lupolo and just keep popping in for it. I think it's my favorite OH beer to date.

Parking is really not hard to find for those willing to walk two blocks or so to the brewery - people are just lazy. TBH most times I've been (3 or for of the half dozen times) there has been street parking on Centre st.

Next thing people are going to be asking for a drive thru window at OH.

Parking is really easy to find in that area compared to the rest of Brooklyn. I have never had a problem parking there. Once I had to walk 1/2 a mile (oh the humanity!). Stop being lazy, find parking around the block and walk.

Just cracked my growler of Greenbacks I had filled the other day. Wow. Never had it before but I'm loving this beer!

I've heard so much positive feedback about Greenbacks. Really wish they would make that their next can.

I had Greenbacks the first time it was brewed. I thought it was a very good beer but honestly it tasted exactly like GD. I couldn't tell the beers apart. If you gave me a blind taste of Greenbacks I would assume it was GD. This is no knock, just stating the fact that I thought they were same exact beer.

I thought that at first, but this batch is legit. I'm going to keep popping into BGH until it kicks. I love that I'm now working in the area now. Other Half every day.

Anyone have simcoe tonight? Not really sure I'd love a single hop, simcoe beer but OH has surprised me in the past.

    Let me know

Above is from the first posting on the first page. I believe @Kanger posted, in last month's thread, that McDonald's asked Other Half not to have their customers use their parking lot while at Other Half. Seems pretty fair to me.

Probably a dumb question, but is the tap room open at the same time as the can sales start? I don't want to make my girlfriend stand in a dumb line when she can be comfortably sipping beers indoors.

Also, anything else interesting going on in the city for beer this weekend?

It is, but not so sure how comfortable she will be in the tap room during a can release. It is tiny and a bit hectic during releases. Unless you go later in the day when the line has died down, then its pretty good.

The can line goes through the tap room during a can release. Not the best idea of letting her try to convince people that she isn't cutting the line. A lot of people get something on tap when their part of the line goes through the tap room. Also, it it acceptable for people to go on the line later to join you when other people have been waiting in line the whole time.

Maybe I'll just pimp her out as a Task Rabbit and she can wait in line with me.

    Kidding.

Same. Only time I ever had trouble finding a spot was the Street Green release. I went down Court St and parked in a metered spot 2 blocks away. $2 for 2 hours is a no brainer.

I dug it. Simcoe is not my favorite hop, but that didn't stop me from enjoying several of these last night. I'd rank it next to Cascade and Citra. In other words, another excellent OH beer that I would never turn down. Not as outstanding as Mosaic or Amarillo, but not many are, in my opinion.

I would look out for Grimm Tesseract Cans and Bourbon Barrel Double Negative bottles.
