Grimm of the Future

It's not like either of these are one-offs. BADN might be a 1x per year thing, but I'd bet Tesseract will be around multiple times a year going forward. Maybe Grimm will chime in on this.

 

I think you might be right to an extent, but NYC is a huge city. I bet even if they dropped cans weekly, limits would stay low and cans would be hard to come by, at least in the short term. The amount of hype on these DIPAs is unreal, and deserved, as they really do go toe-to-toe with the best I've had.

 

I really can't wait till the Grimm's find a good brick and mortar. @Grimm_Artisanal_Ales how's the search going?

 

Anyone know much Grimm puts out in a can release like this compared to what Other Half puts out in a can release?

 

I remember they said their first can release was going to be ~200 cases total. This batch was bigger, so not sure how many cases this time. OH puts out around 500 cases each release, I believe.

 

Well the math on that one, would be 300 cases, if they went from 60 to 90 barrels. Depends on the ratio of cans to kegs though

 

Picked up two cans at Eataly. Lady said I came at a good time, almost done

 

Grabbed a 4pk on LI Today @ Beer City. Still in shock that I saw it out here so early!

 

Nothing at Top Hops an hour ago when I stopped by... not surprised, really.

Edit: Nevermind, already mentioned on page 30. This has become such a boring game... need to stop trying.

 

That woman has been incredibly helpful. She gave me a call today when the cans arrived. She hooked me up with a pulse wave can a few weeks ago as well.

Also, came here to confirm that this batch of tesseract in a can is fucking awesome.

 

Man, I was done teaching at 3:30 and flew downtown to find supplies dwindling. Who are these people out even before me!?!?!

 

They will get their allocation tomorrow as well.

missed out on all of these as i had to work but i was able to grab a bottle of FW XIX and a purple prose at top hops a little while ago, so not all was lost...and hoping i can snag some cans tomorrow!

 

Top Hops screwed me on the FW XIX I asked at 2:30 and they said they didnt have it. How quickly things change.

haha thats odd. not sure if they got it late or what but they tweeted at 6:15 or something that they just got it in and were putting them on sale at 7...so not sure what the deal was

 

I think limits should be changed to 1 can/2 people, to ensure that we all get to try it by encouraging camaraderie instead of competition.
