As far as I know, they allocate equal amounts for each session.

Apologies if I simply missed it... but is there a list of attending breweries and/or beers being poured. Flew in last night from Austin and just haven't been able to get through this full thread.

    Cheers... and happy hunting tonight!

Too bad they don't extend 1st session by 30 minutes! :-) That's help with the planning/logistics. But don't think I'll get much sympathy from my buddies! :-)

In theory, the 1st session is extended by a full hour, if you're an IMBIBE member, and since that first hour is only open to said people, that probably gives you plenty of time to figure things out, before the masses enter.

Too bad I didn't sign up for membership this year...

Anyone else having problems printing their imbibe ticket for tonight? When I click the link in the email they sent me it says "this webpage is not available."

If you do, you will want to check it. It was jammed shoulder to shoulder last year and it would be pretty cumbersome to carry a backpack around.

SeanBond is correct. It's a requirement to pour at the event. Equal amount per session.

What does the VIP pass on Sat grant you, generally? Wondering what/if there's any difference in what is to be missed out on.

extra hour of drinking (in the beginning) so you have a MUCH MUCH higher chance to get the whalez as those usually have blown by the start of the non-vip session

I was captain for the section with the vanilla rye last year for the Saturday night session and the keg kicked in 28 minutes....we were directing people to the Goose booth after that as they had some left. It went the fastest of all the beers in that section, by far.

AFAIK, no BA Abraxas this year. Expect another adjunct stout though.

On Friday night and (reportedly) Saturday morning, people didn't seem to realize that Vanilla Rye and BCBW were entered into the actual competition and not just pouring at the GI booth. The word probably got around by Saturday night.

On Friday, it lasted through the full IMBIBE power hour and well into the GA session.
