If no-one gets Rare... does it become even more rare? Is GI the conductor of the Rare #hypetrain?

So, if there's no label approval, then the Banger's event wouldn't be able to serve any of the ones that don't have approval, correct?

It's six pack of 12oz bottles instead of bombers, so they would need label approval again, right?

The news beers that they do have approved have keg approvals with them as well - so there may be something different with the keg "labels" as well.

So, if they are not approved, than no. I think there is something like a 3 day delay on when things are approved to when I can see them, so nothing came through on today's update. Maybe they get approval in the next couple of days.

They have been getting approvals for around 2 months now - and brewery approved for a bit longer.

So does that mean we will have Speedway eventually?

    It is already label approved.

I have heard Andrews picked them up in DFW and hope it will spread beyond there. I have heard rumors of an Austin one, but I will believe it if I hear anything more official.

Regarding BC label approval, seems safe to say Prop isn't an option, so would it only be coffee at this point? For the others, would they even be able to get 'em to retailers in time for Friday if they received approval by tomorrow or after?

The distributors and even retailers can have the product in house, just can't sell it. I'd love to see some kind of voucher that says you can purchase 1 regal rye or rare when it's available, but that's fantasy thinking. I'll still line up early to get anything that's for sale, I have no self control.

It looks @mph005 got GI to say that BCBS and Rare are approved. So....I guess those should be happening.[IMG]

The goose island girl on facebook is now saying that Rare and BCBS will be available but coffee isn't approved. Coffee seems to be the only one that is actually approved on the TABC website. I just asked her about that out of curiosity why they are saying coffee isn't approved.

So coffee won't make it due to other issues (not related to TABC).

They are still going with Rare and BCBS and saying they are approved. I am guessing they got approval at the end of last week and they just haven't shown up online yet.
