Twin Cities Bottle Hunt

Just spotted 3 bottles Black Butte XXVII at a place in north metro - curious if this is sold out pretty much everywhere? Wondering whether it would be decent investment for future trades....16.99/bottle

 

Bottles are half gone, according to the guy at the entrance. Drinking reg Gravity Well right now... if this is the same beer that went into barrels last year, the bottles are gonna be delicious.

 

I went there and i too was surprised at the turn out over 100 people easily , and it was cold in that parking lot, the bottle is cool looking nice label, have not tried it yet, looks like they will tap this at 6pm if you want to try b4 you buy., last tweet i just saw said they were 2/3 sold out

 

if its anything like previous years, it will sit around. when XXVII came out, places still had XXVI on the shelf. its a solid beer though, not trying to talk down the brew.

 

South Lyndale has a few bottles left of Alpine Nelson if anyone is looking. Haven't spotted it anywhere else recently.

Has anyone seen Bell's 30th Anniversary hanging around? Just cracked my first one and I now feel the need to find more.

 

Man, Liquor Barrel St Loius Park had a few Rum Kings Friday. Got a few hours to check.
Nice haul though. Solid.
Grab some Abrasive too!

 

I have only had Gravity Well once earlier in the year on-tap and thought it was a very good beer. Too bad you missed Rum King as it is another special RIS. If you did end up with a bottle I would let it lay a little while to let it mellow a bit.

 

Top ten in Woodbury had quite a few.

I believe I saw some on the shelf at the Calhoun MGM when I was there last week. You may want to give them a call first thoug.

 

didnt think it wasnt worth its own thread, so figured this is a good spot. looks like Liquor Barrel Miracle Mile has changed its name and is now Top Ten Liquors St. Louis Park.

I stumbled on an 11/10 four pack at spirit sellers in Hudson on Friday. Assuming this is around the Cities as well?

 

Can anyone see into the future and let me know where I could find some Nein and Ride the Wendigo this weekend?
