He's quite popular. The soccer moms are big fans of his cash register work at the grocery store. Nobody can sell 12 packs of Coors Light like he can.

Man I wish there was a website called Cash Register Advocate, but I guess I'll just mention it here. My ring time is way down, so they gave me a free (expired) bag of goji berries and vegan turkey. One of the top 3 days of my life. Thanks to all the hot moms that got me here.

With the early morning weekend talk, I always assume everyone is drinking, even though there's no reason to do so. Don't believe the same on the weekdays, when I'm perusing at work. Guess I just figure if drinking is an option (as it is on weekend mornings for me), it's one worth exercising. As it stands, I am drinking as I read the pleasant repartee this glorious morning.

Cracked that growler of Insane Clown Party, which was slated for Thanksgiving, primarily so I can justify having to run to Voodoo Monday or Tuesday for 37 when this one empties. Headed to Pig Iron later today, but only for a quick hit, before attending a soup and beer thing. Think I remember there being some talk of it earlier in the thread--anyone have thoughts on the place, I'm all ears.

I was surprised by the amount of East End offerings I enjoyed last night (still not a fan of the IPAs I've had from them). The Fatter Gary was actually really good too. I wasn't sure if it was you, but now that I know it is, I'll introduce myself next time I see you around.

Same for you @shuggy. Next time you're in the Whole Paycheck Wexford with your kid and your Pliny hat or when I see you with Greg at Voodoo releases, ill make sure to say hey. I'd love to pick your brain in person.

Pig Iron is supposed to be pretty cool. That amount of draft lines usually scares me a bit, but since they've only recently opened, everything should be pretty fresh. The only weird thing is that they are only doing Pennsylvania breweries (Fat Heads using that loophole), so I wonder how sustainable that model is.

Yeah, didn't realize the focus. Seeing seven Yards in a row just now when I looked up their tap list had me curious/reticent. The GF Segal Ranch and Victory Hop Ticket Rye might be contenders for my personal attention later this morning though.

Ah right, looking over the list now I see its not exclusive, just a majority. Or maybe they ditched the idea already ha.

The Segal isn't really my style. It's very herbaceous and floral. Pretty smooth and clean, but not really for me. I would probably just drink Corona's Victory at Sea all day and have to uber back to the city.

Best laid plans...I may never make it to the soup thing.

Sorry I've been out of town and haven't checked this forum.

    Insane Clown Party: Simcoe, Amarillo

The Bright Side: Mosaic, Simcoe, Columbus

    ......and lots of Citra.

Swung by East End yesterday myself. I liked the Bourbon Barrel Fatter Gary & was amazed by how much the Citra shone through. This year's Snow Melt is also pretty Citra-heavy.

I once worked at a bank, that's kinda the same. I used a register. Want to have a race counting money and handing money out. Points for speed, accuracy and bills facing the same direction? FYI in 4 years of working there my drawer was never short or over. Holler at ya boy.

Side note: Got a bottle of Pure Hoppiness from a trip your way. So excited!

Yum. Sounds good. I might have to swing in and pick up a fill today since I will be in the vicinity. Thanks for getting back, I can never trust @PSU_Mike anyways.

Dude. I subscribe to "Cashier Jockey Quarterly". You're a legend around here. We have your spotlight interview framed behind the register.

I already bought a new moleskine and labeled it "Angst in the Shade of Butler". It looks surprisingly similar to my high school algebra notebook.

I heard it was all PA drafts for the opening. And now the majority will be PA beers.

idk exactly how they got em/ get their stuff. But I sensed some things that arent in regular distribution around here.

hmm. Trying to recall. Cascade was $30/750ml. Drangonsmilk variants $7/12oz. Blvd whisky thing $6.50/12oz? Fort $12/12oz? Higher math maybe the same. Both had 2? bottle limits p/p. Death by coconut ~$4/12oz.

Atlas had it two days ago as mentioned.

Your morning day drinking obviously clouded your ability to strike a potentially perfectly-set pun. tsk. tsk. tsk. :stuck_out_tongue:

MD shadyside has helltown Sherry barrel barleywine for $8/16oz draft or $20/growler. It was very tasty and totally worth trying but maybe a little much to power through a pint before you go grocery shopping like I did.

Has anyone seen project pam around these parts yet? It's possible someone mentioned in this thread already and I just missed it.
