i have a friend who works for Total Wine & More. Seems like a few stores have been saving some Firestone Walker 22oz Bottles for release on Black Friday. He said that the Arlington, North Plano and Denton locations will be releasing these at 10am on Friday. Didn't know quantities or which ones, but did say it was limit one bottle per person and no "calling ahead to save" product. Should make for an interesting shopping day!

One bottle of each FW beer per person, or you get to choose one FW beer of which you get one bottle?

He wasn't sure if it was 1 per brand or just 1 bottle. Will see him tomorrow, so hopefully will have an update tomorrow!

Great! It would be an absolute waste of time if they only let you buy one bottle of FW total.

I would think it would be one bottler per of FW along with the GI stuffl. Basically, their cases are only 6 bottles, I doubt they would let the first 6 people buy one of each of the barrel aged stuff and then it be gone.

Waiting in line for Black Friday anything I feel is a waste, though, so maybe I am not a good judge of things

I agree with that. Some of that beer is fantastic, but that time with my family is more valuable to me since it's one of the few times a year we get together. To each his own.

Most likely. Most stores (in DFW at least) only get one "case" = 6 of FW proprietor's vintage items.

    Agreed.

The North Plano TW released a bunch (Parabola, Stickee Monkey and Velvet Merkin) of FW Vintage bottles last weekend. Are you sure they are releasing more?

Out of curiosity, did you create a BA account to announce this info? If so, that is awesome, because obviously you the blessings of your friend who didn't wanna get caught giving out insider info.... Do you have any word on anything BCBS though is the real question?

Denton and Arlington is limit of one bottle per person-per brand. North Plano is limit of one bottle per person-period. Get there early so you can make the right choice at the Plano Location.

One per person per brand as in: one FW and one BCBS? Or one Parabola, one FW XIX, one BCBS, one BCBS Barleywine, etc per person?

I can only comment on the Firestone Walker (that's all I am positive about) and it's one Firestone Walker Bottle. You wait in line, store opens, you walk out of the door with one Firestone Walker Bottle. Of course after you pay for it....

Thanks for sharing this info. Can you clarify one thing....are you saying Denton/Arlington is allowing you to purchase one of each of the FW beers (1 parabola, 1 stickee monkey and 1 FW Ann, etc) while North Plano is only allowing you to purchase 1 single bottle total?

So Denton and Arlington...if there are 3 different types of FW, you can get ONE OF EACH for a total of three bottles. North Plano, if the are three types, you have to choice only one bottle, not one of each.

Arlington and Denton = 3 Types of Firestone Walker, you can buy one of each for three bottles
North Plano = 3 Types of Firestone Walker, you can buy one bottle only for a total of one bottle.
