Have yet to see this in NJ but had it at the brewery on 10/25 and it was outstanding.

Jim, please let me know how the bottle tastes to you. Maybe it is just a case of differing palates?

    Cheers!

Saw it among the stacks on the floor right after being delivered but didn't attempt to buy it due to the typical "Oh, no - you can't buy that yet - it's not in the system" excuse .

Can't recall now which store but it was probably in Ritchie & Page's central Jersey distro region.

So I did the bottle last nite and to my tastes it was very close to the keg. While any beer that uses 8 times the quantity of hops than a typical brew will have more leaf in the boil, what I get is a depth of hop oils and flavor and overall hop juiciness. Almost a thick painting of hop components across the tongue. I certainly dont find it overly "vegetal" to my palate. Its all about hops to me. Obviously your tastes are different but Im pleased to see so many good reviews and an overall 91 score of this beer. One recent review even rated this 5/5! Funny as I had not read this review until I wrote the above but we are in sync: "This is not just a beer, this is like hop juice. An absolute explosion of juicy hops right off the bine and into the beer. This rightfully has 5 across the board for me. Very good example of a harvest ale."

Victory has a great lineup currently. Loving both the Harvest Ale and Pils, plus Hop Wallop and the Maibock.

Saw some in Wegmans Princeton yesterday. At least 4 cases worth.

Jim, I am drinking my last bottle of 2015 Victory Harvest Ale as I type this message. This bottle has been in my refrigerator for the past few weeks. Just like the other bottles this beer has a big expression of vegetal on both the nose and flavor for my palate.

I greatly enjoyed drinking last year's Victory Harvest Ale; I picked up no vegetal in that batch.

    Cheers!

    Jack
