I'm waiting to hear where things are dropping. Would love to just go to Dominion, but may have to do Schneiders (where folks say it's all going) or WF P St (since they had it all last year + growlers).

I showed up ~6:45 last year and the line was already long enough that I didn't feel like it was worth waiting around.

Yup, people start lining up around 4am at P Street. Of course they also tend to get more variants than anywhere else in this area, so maybe it is worth it for some? That is just too intense for me.

I believe before he left, the beer guy from WF P said Schneider's was getting it all this year.

I have heard the same, that they will have the largest allotment now. It sounds crazy though, and the fact they won't open until 10am.......people may be in line for 5+ hours.

word from dominion is they should be getting some barleywine and some regular, but as you know in the beer industry you dont have it until you have it. But that is what they have been promised, other variants may still be received but they wouldn't tell me anymore, my guess is they would rather surprise then disappoint.

You have to sell (or at least try) to sell a lot of sophie, and their IPA i've hear. God dammit. I really wanted to get at least one bottle of coffee this year. I know the GI distributor sucks so i hope your guy is wrong, because most of the times i ask, they don't really know for sure

Does anyone know, approximately, what number in line you have to be at a Migration Week release, to get a bottle of each variant? Haven't been able to find any good feedback online (i.e. first 50 people, first 100, etc.)

Just would hate to show up a few hours before and probably have no chance

Black Friday is going to be blissful for me this year. Enjoy the insanity, fam.

None of the variants sound interesting enough for me to line up super early on a cold morning. Too bad they're not doing another Vanilla Rye, that I would be excited about.

After coming back from FOBAB, they are a tad underwhelming. Maybe age will help. Free pours of rare were amazing but I don't know how many $60-80 bottles I can justify buying. Base was actually really good though.

Per some comments by people at the release on their FB page, appears bottles were $16 each, 2 bottles per person.

I think today/tomorrow will be the testing days... Might want to check in with your local places because they likely got it today or maybe tomorrow... It's the ones that aren't really aware of all the hoop-la that might just put them out to sell.

fenwick in silver spring had it as of about 3PM today, at least according to instagram/twitter. their prices are usually pretty high so i'm guessing it's $20 a bottle.

The Bottle Shop in Rockville has ~18 bottles left. $14/bottle with a 10% discount if you buy four.

Just regular-- 2 bottles/person, about $14.99/bottle. They had 3 cases (36 bottles) and gave out tickets to the first 18 people. I got there just after 11 when they opened, was no. 7. Got a sandwich and a half pint of BCS, ate lunch, paid for everything at noon and left. It was far more civilized than I expected.
