Bourbon County in CT 2015

odds are high of no coffee. my friend told me 4 kegs in the whole state last year. I'd be happy to get just regal at a not near impossible level.

 

Anyone find any places selling early who don't know what they received?

 

I heard from a beer manager that they might not get any until Dec 1st because of delayed price lists.

 

I'll be visiting in laws in darien. Any idea where the closest place that may get it would be?

my understanding is rare is getting a wide distro this year... hopefully some make it this way... ive got my name in a few places for one if they manage to snag one. regal sounds to be confirmed for us and barleywine.... hopefully coffee gets here.

 

People are saying they've all been delayed. Can anyone confirm?

 

i havent heard of a delay from the two stores i frequent... gonna go to one or both of them in about 30 so ill ask

 

The guy I talked to said no kegs for bars or bottles for stores this week. The distributed doesn't even have it yet

So Goose Island has been in this state for 3 years and this has somehow happened for every BCBS release in that time, right?

 

I got BCBS on Black Friday last year in CT. Some stores didn't get it that day, or at least chose to say that.

 

Ive heard from a rep that nobody in the entire company will be delivering BC on Friday

 

Then why do so many places think they'll have it for black friday? I've heard that variants will be delayed, but a lot of places seem to think they'll have regular for black friday.

 

My buddy who manages a well known Fairfield County store said that his sales guy said no dice this week. He thinks the new labels/bottles are taking a while to get registered.

As many have mentioned, he also said no variants until the new year.

 

my local store hadnt heard of any delays or anything, but she also said she hasnt seen her rep this week because of the holidays and they had to get all their orders in on saturday instead of monday like usual. so i guess who knows?

I was told today by dichello also! But he said just kegs were in so far.

 

Don't have an answer to be quite honest. Perhaps misinformation or assuming Black Friday was for everyone? But knowing it hasn't shown up in CT on time the past couple years and most reps not wanting to hand deliver everything the day after a holiday leads me to believe we won't be seeing any.
