Also, with the mass amounts of product GI is making and the fact that they're rolled up into AB/InBev, the headache of exercising that level of control for a release of these magnitude is probably just not worth it.

Again, we are NOT talking about a "limited" product - there are massive amounts of this beer, especially the base beer. There just happens to also be a massive market.

Where is the "on deck" list of beers for Brooklyn Havest on Union on beermenus?

    Thanks

Just scroll all the way to the bottom of their beermenus page and you'll see it. Looks like they moved BCBS to "on deck" as well, so I wonder if they stopped selling it.

Anyone know if BK Harvest still has BCS available? They took it off their beer menus page

Best bet would probably be to call and ask.

Yep, A case this year is ~203 oz/Case last year was 288. 16*12oz is 192 oz.. so this year a case equals about 17 12oz bottles.. they are able to send more bottles around by removing about 7 bottles per case.. they also are able to make more $ as the per oz price is higher... if you know places that still have 4pks of 2014 etc.. buy them up!

I know some hole in the wall spots in NY and FL got that 2014 still

Does anyone know what High Grade customers received Vanilla Rye last year? I never found a store that received it.

It depends on the distributor. Much of NNJ is serviced by Hunterdon and they will be closed Black Friday which is why the release in most of NJ will be first week of December. Other spots have been getting it because they have a different distributor. So if its Hunterdon save yourself the trouble on Black Friday.

Same here, weren't they the ones illegally reselling OH cans earlier this year, at double the price too?

Harrison in South Jersey is also not distributing until a week or two after Black Friday...

Not sure about the rest of PA, but in the Lehigh Valley it seems as we will be getting screwed. Last year my bar got a decent amount of Stout, Coffee, Barleywine, Rye and a case of Vanilla. This year we are getting a sixtel of Stout, a sixtel of BW and 12 btls of Stout. I support the brand throughout the year not only because I think they have a decent product but also because the Bourbon County allotment is based on sales of GI's other products throughout the year. And it's a way for us to reward our loyal customers with as much Bourbon County as we can get. I just feel like we got the shaft this year. My sales are way up so hopefully our area just got way less than last year and if I see any stout variants around my area I'm going to have a few words for my distributor.

I've never lived in NYC and don't do most of my beer shopping there. I've lived in Long Beach most of my life and BCBS is never released around here prior to black friday and usually isn't released until the week after. Last year it didn't come until a few days later. So I did not know that it was common practice.

After looking at One Mile House and there Bourbon County tap list for Wednesday 11/25, I have to ask... Will we ever see Vanilla Rye in NYC on tap again (specifically this coming week)? I know the remaining VR is kept for Goose Island events and since the Migration event has come and gone my soul is shuddering. I traded too much for my single bottle of VR and I would hate to crack it open and know it's gone forever, especially since it could age for a few more years.

VR has been on tap before in the city - are you on beermenus? You can, at the very least, follow the beer there.

I have a feeling they keep the varieties in house. They haven't distributed coffee or any other variety beyond BW since we started to get BCBS in NJ, and it has been on their order inventory sheets.
