I know this prob isn't the right forum but figured Randy and/or Phil would know - will the new Victory Java Cask see distro? I love the criminally underrated oak horizontal so I'd love to see how a BA coffee stout turms out.

Bummer. I wouldn't say dickish, just a constant opposite of opinion but whatever works.

We certainly have opposite opinions on what dickish is.

I guess one persons compliments are another persons dickish comments? Sorry for calling you a legend around these parts. I take it back.

I don't want to try home brew anymore, moments gone. Carry on.

Saw Hop Stalker in the mix & match section at Shadyside - that puts it at $13 for a 6-pack as opposed to (I think) $14 for a 4-pack when it first came out. Of course, by now it's undoubtedly fetid garbage water, though, so caveat emptor.

There is something to be said about this but I'm not quite sure what it is.

im not particularly fond of barley wine. But, haywire sevenseven gave me a pour the oak hor, and that stuff was absolutely delicious. 2nd best BW i've ever tasted.

Thanks again. I forgot that bomber was still out there. That beer kept getting better and better but sadly it is gone now. I'm gonna brew it again over the holiday weekend.

It's gotta be. They only tapped it a week ago. Their beers usually last at least 2-3 weeks. I haven't had it yet so I'm trying to get down there Wednesday.

Though I've lurked in the general "what are you drinking on Thanksgiving" thread, wondering if anyone has something (especially local-ish) planned for their Thursday lineup. I don't plan on leaving my house Friday but am hoping Java Cask shows up early--know the drop party is tomorrow, but I am assuming there is very little/no chance we see distro this week.

Anyone going to this? Apparently have a buddy who went to the Family & Friends soft opening (jerk didn't tell me), but they have a neat opening day line up (APA, IPA, DIPA, Brett Cider, Gose, Barrel-Aged Saison, Porter, Stout, Blonde). Not far from the old homestead; may have to leave the house after all.

Black Friday may be lazy Friday at my household. After finding out the details of BCBS I really don't have any interest in standing in line for an hour to be one of 20 who can buy it. The shit is probably going to be Walmart Doorbuster style with neckbeard fights etc. :grinning:

If I can conjure up the energy I might head to Insurrection, but that would mean dealing with the Parkway which is shut down.
