    I don't believe so, no.

Hunterdon does not distribute Goose Island at all.

Further evidence that regular BCS will be extremely easy to get ahold of this year.

So apparently, there's at least one spot in each North Jersey and Brooklyn that makes it a practice to sell a week earlier than the actual release date (and this year was no different). What are these 2 places? Hoping that you will share, even if it's sold out at this point.

Already planning for BCS 2016. I like it.

The one in Brooklyn was Brooklyn Harvest in Williamsburg.

    Always planning, but rarely executing.

Union or N 5th location, or both?

Foodery for sure. Outside of that I have no idea. I'm trying to hit the suburbs as much as I can if I can

Was able to pick up a few more bottles of regular yesterday. Seems as if it is/will be readily available.

I have heard from multiple people that variants didn't hit a big chunk of the state.

    Covenhoven:

We are happy to announce that in addition to the other BCBS products this year from @GooseIsland we will also be selling a case of BCBS Rare. Due to a limited number of bottles and a naive belief in fairness, we will be selling our bottles via a lottery. Starting today and through Wednesday night, customers interested in purchasing a bottle are invited to enter their name and email address at the bar. The winners of the lottery will be informed via email on Thanksgiving Day, and are free to pick up their bottle on Friday 11/27 after 5pm (when we open) and to pick up other BCBS products. Any duplicate named entries will be discarded and we will ask to see a photo ID at pick-up. The bottles will be priced at $65 each. Other BCBS products will also be one bottle of each style per customer. As usual, thank you for tolerating our presence, and good luck if you believe in that type of thing.

Sucks that they didn't get any variants, but I think this thread is pretty good evidence that a ton of places sell before black Friday, and have done so far years, and still continue to get BCBS.

That's a good point, and also evident by the fact that it's AB InBev, who (without trying to stir up a debate) are clearly in the business for massive profit, and what better way than by selling beer, no matter what.

At the scale they are producing and with the number of accounts they are managing, it seems absurd at this point to have a set "drop date" for the beer that is totally synchronized and enforced. I can't think of another beer where that's the case (on a national scale), so asking every single store to do so (when they may have limited space, a need to sell such expensive stock, etc) is fairly absurd.

I expect that, moving forward, "Black Friday" events will be primarily aimed at Rare/Variant releases, but general BCS will hit the floor when it hits the stores, much like any other beer.

Is there a consensus as to reasonable prices for all the different bottles?
