That's the first time I've seen someone say, "IRL" in about 7 years.

 

Yea? I'll tell you what. I picked up some BCBS for some friends too (paid what I considered a premium). What do my friends pay me? I ask them to pay me back retail, $11 a pop. No "friend" is going to make you shell out extra so he can benefit from hoarding.

There's a good reason everyone is pissed. If a small group of people were allowed to do what he did and buy the whole allotment for each store, no one outside of that 1% would be able to get any BCBS.

Also, come to think about it, that store was charging a premium so they knew what they had on hand. Shame on them for not putting a bottle limit on your purchase and letting it happen.

 

I just called the store, they said they still have it in stock. Everyone calm down.

 

Phew, didn't realize they had more in the back. My wallet thanks them for not putting it all out.

Harbor Spirits in Severna Park had regular on the shelf, $11.99 1pp. I passed but figured I'd give the heads up. Had a few bottles left.

 

Where are you finding BA Rasputin for less than BCBS? On the contrary, I often see it for $23+ for a 500ml, compared to what's expected to be $10.99 for a 500ml of BCBS this year. Many of those other beers you listed are also more a per-ounce basis than regular BCBS. Unless you're referring to the prices of Regal and Rare? I do agree that Rare is overpriced.

 

Mix It Up in Virginia Beach just posted their Bourbon County to their instagram you can only see regular and barleywine. With no limits. Needless to say it was gone instantly. Some limits are good!! I'm sure people bought a case. But at least it shows it has landed here.

 

Has anybody bothered to call a Total Wine and ask what their story is going to be Friday?

Or would we just get the stock clueless reply?
