I mean, Calm Before the Storm was excellent, and this has a higher gravity for a more creamy mouthfeel (I imagine). Fully stoked to drink the fucking hell out of this.

If I'm being perfectly honest I was thinking the exact same thing. Still dig sixpoint though and will try it out

Never had any Sixpoint beers just picked up a couple in trades. If I could get my hands on this I would try it.

Yea I'm not bothered they are copying someone else's beer, if no one did there would only be 1 IPA. I just think it's janky to pretend it's your idea like they do in that press release. Then taking an all time great hip hop songs and associating it with lightening coffee with milk?!?! Shame

great target date for release, that gives us time to continue collecting Sensi and spending all of our $ there for the time being.

I'm not trying to offend anyone, but other than marketing, I don't understand why a brewer would formulate a recipe based on a word pun. At the same time, two styles really low on the love-o-meter here are American blondes and cream ales... but add coffee and people drool... I don't get that either (is it the marketing again?). If you love coffee ice cream, it stands to reason that you should drink this beer on the rocks... given the words, it's a logical combination.

Mr. Zid, I am also not typically a fan of coffee to beer but I do like some coffer beers; BCCBS of a few years ago comes to mind.

For the breweries (i.e., Sixpoint) if there is a demand for beers brewed with coffee it makes sense to brew those types of beers. I am unsure how a Cream Ale with coffee will taste but there is only one way to find out.

    Cheers!

It's cool man, C.R.E.A.M. stands for, Carton Rules Everthing Around Me.

This looks to be about 5% ABV lower than Carton's (which I love), no? IMO, Sixpoint kind of does their own thing and does not seem to copies others. Plus, Shane seems like a very cool BA.

    Looking forward to finding this.
I note that Ballast Point has also released a coffee/cream ale.
