Blanchard's usually gets a small amount. I would give them a buzz. If not Pembroke Center Liquors might be your next best bet.

The beer manager at Blanchards in Marshfiled sucks. I used to love the guy who left about a year ago (forget his name, often wore a scali cap). The current kid is clueless.

The tip on Macy's in Weymouth was great. I asked the owner if they had any other varieties and he brought me out a bottle of rye. Had the other 3 kinds on the shelf.

 

Anyone at Stoddard's?

 

Grabbed two bottles of regular at Price Chopper (now Market 32) in Pittsfield for $8.99 each. They had a good amount of regular in the cooler. No variants that I saw.

Lordi! Didn't know you'd be there man. I headed downstairs when they announced they would start pouring. Was finally able to try Vanilla and thought it was amazing.

For anyone thinking of going: Both Regal and Vanilla kicked withing 30 mins. Coffee at about 45 mins and they were onto the regular and BW when I just left (5pm). Unfortunately they only received sixtels and the draft lines were split between upstairs and downstairs which caused pressure issues with the pours. I'd say 1/8 of it went down the drain in foam... Still, nice event and I'm glad I got to finally try Vanilla.

 

I was at Stoddards and had a great time. Vanilla Rye was very good but for my taste I didn't discern much of a difference between Prairie Vanilla Noir. However I realize everyone has different tastes. Regal was interesting, would prefer to try it in 6 months to a year. Coffee sold out while I was sitting there nursing my Regal. Had a 2013 bcbs and enjoyed. Great to see some people I know. Beer Geek homecoming and whatnot. Safe and sound at home now, crushing water.

 

Anything on Cape Cod? I feel like the entire county only got a handful of cases of regular last year and that's it. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

I've been searching too. Nothing in Kingston nor Plymouth (I know not technically cape).

 

Stoddard's was a good time as always. Gotta get there from the jump but they handle things well
