Thats because your using breaks instead of the letter I lol. anyways, glad you enjoyed them. Joe Montana was great, but when Brady is done with his career he will cement himself as the #1. Even if its impossible to convince every non pats fan of it.

 

The one offs are called Canvas Series (other than the Angel series which is separate). The Canvas series can be... awesome or they can be mediocre. Oblivion is probably my favorite sour of theirs in the regular rotation.

 

Good man taking them both down tonight! I've got to assume you prefer the Abrasive? That's definitely my preference. I feel bad to say that I probably only drink about 8 or so Furious's a year...

I always use a waiter's corkscrew for waxed bottles and never have had issues. Just line up the teeth in the bottle opener and crack open, with wax and all.

Wow, I've got to give you a hand Lehigh! Taking down the largest quantity of the night and of double digit ABV beers. You win the night for going hard! Jealous of being able to dome entire bottles of beer of that caliber!

 

Well. Wife is fine, 3-4 stitches but otherwise ok. She's seen some of my other waxed bottles and has been begging to open. I finally let her and boom, injury. Fortunately my mil is a nurse so she came over and took her while I watched my kids. I couldn't look for fear of fainting.
Now that everything is calm I get to have the beer.

Good Lord this is righteous. I'll take this over KBS any day. Thanks @Tee2Grn!

Kept things a surprise right up to drinking time, but no blind tasting, since I didn't get the idea until I caught up on y'all's posts from tonight. Fun idea, might do it for future days to test myself.

Awesome beer! Hazy hops, nice dry pale/ipa with great hop contribution!

My only disppointment with this beer was that I didn't get a higher ABV beer for day one b/c I was hoping to get a little tipsy, especially with not having to work tomorrow. No worries though, since the GF wanted to split a bottle of wine for dinner and I'm about to nightcap with something dark.

Can't wait for day 2. Probably will crush it before heading to my GF's parent's house for dinner since they are nuts and aren't eating until 5:30 - who even does that?
