I'm not sure. I love furious as a standard IPA, one of my favorites. It is nicely balanced. Abrasive is exactly what you'd expect with its name, in your face hops.

One thing I didn't realize till we had 2 at a share once, they use different coffee in different batches. We had the first one, very light coffee flavor but still great. The second was a coffee bomb and amazing. But, I'm biased towards all things coffee. Hope you enjoyed

Just unwrapped day 2! Will be packing this up to take to my parent's house today. I think my brother-in-law and sister will enjoy sharing this with me! Cascade actually just started landing on our shelves in Texas this week, but only the Strawberry and Blackcap Raspberry so far. Happy thanksgiving everyone!

 

Nothing like your kid up crying all night at your parents house...

Had a great time with Dave, his 15 year old son who is way smatter than I'll ever be, and his brother a true class act who also happens to enjoy great beer! Hey Dave I need your bros address too. Hopefully I'll be able to make it to a share up there one of these days.

And of course Dave didn't send me off empty handed..

at this point I feel like there should be stripper music playing in the background, especially given how long it took me to unstick the bubble wrap... but it was worth it!!..



Jackie O's Bourbon Barrel Black Maple!! When I figured out @Corriecrafts was my sender, I was hoping for / expecting some Jackie O's (I've only had one), but this is ridiculous! I have to run out soon to pick up my M-I-L, then will be home for about an hour before leaving for the day -- but I'm still recovering from last night's 10% 32 oz treat so this one will wait until I get home tonight. Although the Maple Syrup DOES sound like justification to have it with breakfast.

Really looking forward to having this later (and hoping to be home by about 9PM, although I'll be staying up late to watch football anyway). And given who the guy on the label sort of reminds me of, I'm surprised he has his shirt on...

 

Haha, I had help. I think I could probably do it if I had enough time but it was probably my 4th beer of the day.

 

Yeah I've heard there's a lot of batch variation with the beer with some being stellar and some being just ok. I enjoyed it a lot despite not a lot of coffee coming through. Enjoying it over such a long period of time was nice too -- I basically had a constant buzz going without ever getting drunk, and woke up hangover free (doming a beer of that size/abv over the course of like 1.5-2 hours would have me feeling awful the next day if I went straight to bed after it)

Excited for todays beer too, though it may be shared (just a little bit -- it's a nice 750ml, I'll probably have at least 16oz of the bottle)... pr0n to come once open!

Martin you werent kidding when you mentioned having someone to share with... Now ill have to mention that they might catch a buzz off a pour of this alone. Today shall be interesting.

 

Ive got xbox one. Think im gonna have to get fallout 4 for xmas. whether someone gets me it or i gift it to myself. Lately my xbox has just been a source of netflix though. If you get one soon, my gamertag is the same as my BA username...

 

Double Shot (Tree House) and PM Dawn (Trillium) have been doing the same thing for the last year or two. Love the variety added to amazing base beers.
