NH BCBS lookout,info

Should be Black Friday this year.

 

Not in New Hampshire. We'll get it in December I'm sure.

 

I think Brewtopia in Keene had it on Black Friday last year.

 

Smoke N Barley in belmont/tilton will have it. Buy a Goose IPA 12 pack or a Goose Winter 12 pack, purchase up to 2 bottles. And they already have theirs in hand. So it will be around. They told me no variants... but Cask and Vine has an event in 2016 with Regal Rye bottles. So maybe one or two stores will get them and they will never see the shelf : )

 

Heard less than 20 cases of Regal Rye for the state (and only the Seacoast + Concord section of the state) and that's the only variant NH is getting.

I'm in the Northeast Kingdom of VT for the holiday weekend. I'm thinking of driving to the Littleton, NH area to see if there might be any BCBS available there. Anyone from that region have any insight into beer stores that may have it?

 

Tuckaway Tavern posted on FB that they will sell a mixed 6 pack of GI with one bottle of BCBS for 19.99 starting Friday at opening. Not sure what the other beers are but there you go.

Personally, I'm going to take a ride down to MA and pick up a few bottles and skip the package deals.

Where did you hear this and do you know what stores? Barb has said that she is only getting 3 cases of regular.

It's a regional thing. You wouldn't understand. Found some in Manchester at $20 per bottle. Needless to say I passed.

 

Regular for $20 per is laughable.

 

Wher was it? Call that shit out.

 

I spoke with a shop owner who doesn't sell much GI. He said because he's a low volume account, the distributor gave him 2 options - Pay $150 a case for regular (meaning he'd have to mark them up to $15-20 per bottle to make profit) or buy 10 cases of GI winter mix pack for every 1 case of regular at cost. He passed altogether.

Not saying this is what happened at the shop charging $20 ea, but there's shady stuff going on behind the scenes sometimes.

 

I know brewropia kinda called then out on FB for saying they didn't sell enough of their shitty beer to get more than a case of bcbs. Johnson's also declined to sell their 12 packs so they received zero Bcbs. Cool stuff.

 

I think this is what Goose Island is forcing many shop owner to do and not just in NH. Forcing people to buy beer they don't want just for the privilege of getting one bottle of BCBS. This is shameful.
