Haven't seen a Gose, but I have seen Lindemans Faro a couple of times locally (Haven't bought one yet though).
Red Duck has done some braggots, although the 2 I have had were only ok.
I've been searching for a Wheatwine, but haven't seen one yet.
Nope, haven't seen unblended lambic either
I've had a roggenbier ages ago when I was in Tassie - I think it was 3 Ravens? Can't really remember it too well though :slight_frown:
    lol @ Kvass... no chance...

Yeah I've been to Europe twice, but this was before I knew about the multitude of weird and wonderful beer styles out there - if I ever make it to Europe again Belgium is at the top of my list of countries to visit for sure now

3 Ravens made a Roggenbier and Red Duck made a Braggot? Not sure how I missed those two...

Which chain sells the Lindemans Faro? I've looked in Dan Murphy's and First Choice and couldn't find it, and Plonk in Canberra has the largest selection of beers in Australia and they didn't have any of the styles I listed above.

Post is about styles you have a hard time finding. Not the stuff you have trouble getting in to.

Haven't seen a Steinbier yet, but I know Stone & Wood make a limited release one - will have to try to find it.

Haven't seen any "Graff" either. I've had beer with apples, but not a proper 50-50 mix.

Although I havent' tried it, I've seen the bottle of Dogfish Head's Sah'tea. I'm a bit hestitant at spending $40 on it though

Pale mild. And as a fan of all sorts of session beer it drives me crazy that I've never had it.

Had every style listed on BA except for Kvass and Happoshu. Though I did homebrew a kvass, so there's that...

I've spent some time going through the 104 styles listed on Beer Advocate website and cross referencing with my DB. I've had at least one beer from most of them, but was extremely surprised to discover that I've never had an American Wild Ale. The other styles I've missed so far are Braggot, Sahti, Gose, Roggenbier, Kvass, and Happoshu. Judging by the scarcity of reviews on some of these styles, I'm not the only one who has missed them.

Is there a fairly common/popular/available style that you've not had?

Ive had only two opportunities but bier de garde. I seem to pass them up. Also gueze and lambic although ive had 1 oude bruin. I think ive also not had an Altbier or Dopplebock.

I love braggot. One of my favorite styles. Which some find odd because i dont like honey. But i love the beer so much. Would really like to try sahti.

Not really, but I credit that mostly to a combination of luck and living in/near an area with truely great distribution and variety so that most of the styles I've tried were ticked off over time without my really noticing what was happening.
