Was hoping to find a coffee variant in West Springfield, but no dice.

I heard from a friend who went to table and vine this morning that they sold all their variants to their employees and were only selling regular 4 packs at the store. Sortof a weird move but I suppose with such a large store getting so little of something people are going to be asking about every 30 seconds like this that's a decent way to just rid yourself of a headache.

This years doesn't come in 4 packs so that's even weirder

Yankee sold whatever varients they had in 2-3 minutes. However many they had, was able to get 2 regular bcbs. But!!!!! Got a tasting of some cellared stuff like 12 bcbs

So glad I made the trip up to Yankee in Sturbridge today. They had Regal and Coffee (limit 1 of one or the other), Regular (limit 2), plus they busted out a ton of limited bottles from the back. KBS, Avery, BA Framinghammer, to name a few. Plus they were pouring samples of random bottles, most notably A Deal With the Devil. They really pulled out all the stops.

Did anyone go to Redstone? It seemed like they had a really creative spin on this particular release. Plus the class that they sold tickets for seemed pretty cool. Anyone attend both?

Also went to Hugh's today to avoid the riots at Foundry in Somerville tonight (which will be GREAT if you can get in, I'm sure) and thought it was an excellent experience. Coffee Stout was the real deal and the other dark beers on tap were solid offerings. IMO, Malden is developing some real chops with Hughs, Mystic Station, and Idle Hands moving in.

I'm curious what people paid this year. All stores visited are in MA around the 93/128 area and a touch north toward the 93/495 area. For me the ranges were:

    regular stout: 9.99 to 12.99
    coffee: 9.99 to 14.95
    barley: 9.99 to 14.95
regal rye: 29.99 to 29.99 (only one bottle to be had...)

Glad I didn't go to Table and Vine. Me and my finacee walked into Super Phipps in Westfield at 10:05 and walked out with two bottles of regular, one coffee, and one regal.
