Yes Ye Olde only got regular this year. Did anywhere in Frederick get any variants? Not that any are available still but just wondering how the local area distribution played out.

PS: Yes still 5+bottles on shelf of Flight of the Angry Beast at Ye Olde when I stopped in yesterday. I grabbed 1 bottle last week. I think Orion in Urbana had some bottles a few weeks ago when I stopped in.

BCBS still going strong at Harris Teeter on Kalorama Dr. in NW DC. Rye (limit 1), Coffee (limit 2), BW (limit 2) and regular (no limit) available. Probably a case of Rye and 2 of coffee still on the shelf as of 15 minutes ago.

I was in the area yesterday so I stopped by to check for Xocoveza and it was nowhere to be found. The staff seemed oblivious to it as well, so I'm doubting that they had it in and it disappeared that quickly. TW Springfield = Total Wine on Bland Ave. correct?

Yup, the one on Bland. I saw it there myself.

Xocoveza is even better than I remember. Picked some up in Winchester, Va this weekend. A little beyond the path of most people following this but, I recommend getting it when you find it. It's awesome!

That sounds a lot like an ad. Maybe mention whats on the shelf or some actual dates, otherwise you sound like an employee and that's no beuno.

Quick google search of "Allview Liquor" and "Jarvis" finds that the store is owned by a Jarvis. Coincidence?

Kind of a tone deaf plug, Jarvis. You should just lurk on the forum and jack up your prices when you see people buzzing about a release like the guys at Modern

OR lower the price on a big release and plug it here, and win some loyal customers.

I spotted several bottles of GBS at Trader Joes on 14th yesterday - did they brew more this year than last year? I remember it being almost impossible to find last year.

The variants were tricky last year, but the standard wasn't too bad by my memory. Also, TJ's got a huge stash of the standard this year through a good relationship with Hardywood from what I've heard.

Because the internet was talking about it therefore you have to try it. If there was any sort of hype behind a beer containing Rat Poison fuckers would drink it. Maybe that's how we fix the Bourbon County problem. Convince Goose island to make a Rat Poison variant.

I fell into this trap. Picked some up at a reasonable price in Ohio solely because of the buzz, even though I do not like coconut. The coconut was subtle enough to be palatable, however, and I actually enjoyed it. Good beer overall; my partner/friends will probably drink the other three though.
