I get that, but there are a number of beers that have not been released as advertised. Last night a number of these archived beer were stagered into the morning(white chocolate)and others like Fruit. i kind of dig not knowing when these beers will be released...keeps purchasing interesting!! i love listening to everyone cry about not being informed about when something will become available. Breathe

Was there anything interesting? Was there any WC, or GM? I wanted to login at 12 but my laptop had to do some huge updates cuz anybody who bought a Dell laptop recently, was vulnerable to "man in the middle", adware, spyware attacks. So I did the updates which took an hour. But better safe then sorry.

I think the last thing that the Bruery needs is a lot of beer nerds pressing F5 constantly causing server strain. So that's why being open and upfront on when stuff will be released is not only helpful to the consumer, but to the company as well.

    C'mon, everyone needs a 6-year-old Autumn Maple!

But seriously, did the Melange 3's *ever* make it up? I was waiting for those, never saw them.

No, but consider yourself lucky. That was a hard bottle to finish.

I didn't get in until after the site came back up after the crash, but I never saw these:

    Autumn Maple Barrel Aged (2011)
    Five Golden Rings (2012)
    Imperial Loakal Red (2012)
    Melange #3 (2011)
    Melange #3 (2012)
    Smoking Wood Bourbon (2012)
    Stein's Throw (2012)
Snicklefritz (which wasn't on the list, but in the emails)
Batch 300 (wasn't on the list, but in the emails)

Feel free to correct me if you saw any of these. I definitely wasn't looking for some of them.

BA Autumn Maple I believe I did see.
5 Golden Rings I never saw as a stand alone but it did exist in some of those packs they had.

The others weren't even on my radar.

BA Autumn Maple didn't show... The barrel fermented version did.

Ah, thanks for clarification. I read it quickly as I was scrolling down to try and get that Pinot. My click game was not strong enough for that one. Ah well.

Coincidenatally, I opened one of those barrel-fermented Autumn Maples the day before Thanksgiving. I bought it at some cellar sale two or three years back. Pretty decent Maple sour!

I'd long heard the rumors about it being sour and it definitely was. My buddy passed around pours telling people it was a Maple sour and some actually enjoyed it when they thought it was intentional. Surprised that the Bruery still offered that one.

I guess I should shut up - people apparently bought all those old-ass AMs that were up, except for your barrel-fermented one.

Stiiiiiiiiiill waiting on Melange 3 '11 and '12...

Just cracked a 2013 Wanderer, super yeasty and a lot of the flavor has fallen off, leaving just one sour note. Anyone else had this recently?

Last Christmas I had The Wanderer and Bottleworks and that's how I felt about the Bottleworks... it was good, but all the fruit had fallen off.

Opened a 2015 Black Tuesday tonight. My first taste of this year's vintage. A brilliant beer. While many prefer adjunct versions, even that is a testament to what an incredible base beer this is. Hats off to The Bruery for continuing to brew a modern classic.

Not so sure I agree with this. I think Oude Tart does get more interesting with age.

On the other hand, I'm not sure why anyone would expect the fruit in the fruited sours to not drop off with age. I would think those would be best when they are released.

i think it's bottle dependent. I bought one of their library releases for oude tart and it was pretty much oxidized.
