I've heard it's with the distributors but they won't be sending it out until at least Monday. Expect it to land Monday like last year.

Not sure on what we expect to get. Last year we didn't get any coffee initially, then it started showing up like 2 weeks later (my time frame could be off but it was definitely a week after BCBS/BW/VR landed).

We as consumers are really not entitled to anything, esp when it comes to scarce supply items. Lamenting over missing out is one thing, but putting others down for getting it before you is pretty childish.

I think last year was an exception rather than the rule. Long Island got everything at once the two years prior to that.

Patience. Won't always be like this. I have tasted locals as good or better than BCBS and that trend is going to continue.

I remember a time we used to wish we could get locally all these great beers we used to have to trade for, and now we not only get them, they sit on shelves here unsold, some of them, and so many others have come around too. We may look back on how crazy we were to wait on lines like this, when we can easily get these styles much more easily, but it will be like this for y'all too, talking about how back in the day we used to have to wait in lines lol.

Thanks to the post about the places in NY that got it today. Luckily, I was at my sister-in-law's up in Cornwall for Thanksgiving. Walked over to store, got one bottle of regular, left store. Nice.

Best I got around PA/NJ border was #12 on a list to pick up 1 bottle of BCBS on Monday. 1 place said they had 6 bottles up for grabs. I went to the local Wegmans and overheard a guy asking if they had "that Bourbon 'Country' beer". Im really on the hunt for the barleywine but nobody around here seems to have gotten bottles.

I heard the Wegmans in Collegeville split a case of Rare with another store, but only sold 3 bottles of it total. Supposedly people showed up for Rare at 4am but didn't get shit which really sucks if true. I think is the last year I bother with this circus act. It's one thing to know limits and to show up accordingly but when retailers continually lie or just don't give a shit about their customers it creates an entirely different situation, one I want no part of.

I think it's worth dropping an email to Wegmans Southeast Operations Management team to find out WTF is going on. Heck even contacting the Store Manager. They may not even have a clue what beers they have, how rare they are, and whether employees are taking bottles for themselves before the release.

Was at the collegeville store and looked like the people that got there at the store were able to get 1 bottle of each of the variants and 3 bottles of regular. I am pretty sure that I saw 12 people get bottles of rare. All the variants were gone easily with the first 15 people. The manager was there and didn't care, even said they would rather not have to deal with any of it in the future. Would have liked to gotten a bottle of coffee, but oh well, I am not sitting in the cold at 4 am to do so....

I saw several people not grab any BW out of their allotment at Top Hops in the am too. No knock to BW but I wish coffee had BW availability.

Was fortunate enough to find a nice bottle shop close to home. So glad I was able to avoid all that inner city bullshit at the Foodery and Tops Hops.

They had a case. Some went to regular customers. Some to the first few people in line who got there... they took their number and they came back, and the rest to employees. Either way.. Shady and should be reported. I lined up at a place expecting rare and only got regular as well. I lined up at 1:30AM and they didn't open until 9:30AM. Was #1... This is the last year I participate and will just go to regular local releases to trade for this stuff in the future

I'm with Petrinoda. Too many people at the stores, especially at Wegmans, taking the beer for themselves as the Store Managers don't care.

I generally refuse to wait in line for beer and this is the only beer I will wait for, but this will be the last year. It's become bullshit.

For anyone looking to hit up WF Columbus Circle this afternoon, all of our coffee unfortunately disappeared when it was accidentally put out in the BCBS floor display overnight. Just got word.
