Visiting Denver From Chicago. What to Bring Back?

    Hey all,

    My wife and I will be spending a few days around New Years in Denver. We are planning on renting a car to check out New Belgium, Odell, Great Divide, and others.

    We want to bring back some good stuff that we can't get back in Chicago.

    What should we be looking for in terms of unique beers, barrel aged stuff, etc.?

    Check out Funkwerks in FOCO when you're up there. Right down the street from both.

    Dry Dock, Elevation, Odyssey, Copper Kettle, Funkwerks, River North all make great stuff in bottles that doesn't leave the state AFAIK.

    Crooked Stave (denver) make EXCELLENT sours as does Trinity from Co Springs.
    You can't go wrong with either.

    Its a little dated for Co though involving stuff we now have because of CSA mostly, but if you see it while here you'd know we have it.:wink:
