    I had it on tap yesterday. I thought it was weird. The bitter hops and maple didn't blend well for me. I skipped buying bottles. I just don't get why they would use a black IPA in the maple barrels.

    I am looking forward to this. I don't mind spending $15 when barrels are involved. I hope it doesn't hit the $20 range.

    Founders rep on FB said this won't see huge distro because the small amount of barrels available to them. Some distro yes but not full

    On tap at 7Monks, Traverse City. Pretty good IMHO. Just the right balance of bitter and sweet. Tastes just like you think a black IPA in maple would taste. Not thick, easier to drink than I thought it would be.

    Idk it sounds like it can be good, however i would agree maple doesnt do as good with hops for.me.so.id prefer stout, still gonna try though

    Cbs is on tap now at founders! You can do a side by side, seriously tempted to go, CBS is one of the best beers I have ever had

    I just picked this up today (Ft.Lauderdale FL) it was 16.99 can't wait to try it out. not a huge black IPA fan but Founders rarely disapoints especially in the company of bourbon

    Other way around. Bourbon first, then maple syrup. It has to be that way, if for no other reason that because bourbon barrels have to be first use, by law.

    Just got a bottle in Glastonbury. Didn't seem to be a limit.

    This actually doesn't sound too appealing to me, but curiosity got me.

    I got some up in NY and had it on Thanksgiving. I thought it was really tasty and worth getting a second bottle, which I did on Friday before I came back home. FWIW.
