BG Jewel hasn't gotten any "yet" according to the person I spoke to at the service desk today. So might be worth a call over there tomorrow? I think if you call around smaller shops (as irritating as that can be) you will still find regular. I was in the south burbs yesterday and found some at a cardinal liquor with minimal effort but it was $15 per bottle which was rough.

Are all the Variants pretty much gone?

Based on the multiple stores I went to this weekend, I would say most likely. I was only able to find regular and barleywine after Friday morning.

If you found Barleywine you're doing better than me! I think finding variants at this point will take more luck than anything else.

There are so many posts on BCBS right now and I've gone through most of it, so I apologize if this has been asked already. Does anyone know what the prices of each were at Binny's LP?

Awesome, thanks man. So people leaving with the full allotment were paying about $175 after tax?

Turns out Lincoln Park had 1k allotments (minus Rare) and 750 people in line. So people went through multiple times. Buddy of mine show up there at 1045 am and got a full allotment. If I ever do a BF lineup I know what store I'll choose.

What was the rare count for LP? I assumed a full allocation meant getting rare....

Yeah, they had enough Rare for 1000 people. And there were more like 850 lined up. They tweeted a pic showing plenty of tickets available after 9 am and the ticket number was around 865 or something.

Apparently some people went through 5 times, spending over $1000 on BCBS in one day, assuming they got a full allotment + vintage bottle each time.

Dayum. I misheard my bud but just verified this. Suburban Binny's line waiters really did get the short end of the stick.

I get the excitement of the chase, and the vintage bottle opportunity is awesome....but, holy hell....$1000 on beer in a matter of hours (not to mention what might have been spent at clybourn afterwards) is unreal.

I think a reason (myself included) a lot of folks stayed out in the burbs was Binny's stating that all stores would have the same allotment (2 reg + 1 of the others) whereas in prior years this was not the case. It's just the full allotments at most of the outlying stores did not go very far this year. I'm fine with LP getting the lion's share of full allotments. Hopefully Binny's stays with this same approach next year so we'll all be the more wiser for it. Knowing is half the battle.

Could not have said this better. I will get my ass down to LP next year early but will then find out so do 1000 other people and the suburb Binnys all get huge allotments with nobody in line because they are all in LP! I just don't want to chase my tail.
