I will say that someone was definitely on track with the guesses and I feel my target should/could be calling me out soon.

Ahhh that explains it.........I can't have that on the house to often with a 14 year old and a 6 year in the house still. The 14 year old would eat that show up like Candy.

Getting my old mind to pay attention to much of anything for an extended period is a chore.

I did have a chance to meet up with 2 participants in this BIF on Saturday. I met and got the chance to buy a beer for @Houser and @PA-Michigander at Pizza Boy!! Even got to meet @Houser's much better half again

Not sure these hints are helping, my target doesn't post in here a ton but I think he is reading so I'll throw another one out: we seem to share a similar taste in movies

 

Just dropped off the two boxes moments ago. Should leave PA today at 5, headed West, maybe slightly North, definitely West. Should be there in 2-3 days, hoping by Wednesday! There's nothing super fresh that needs to be immediately drank, but there is a beer in the swag/extra's box that I would recommend at least hanging onto until one of the days of Christmas is over, then you can decide if you want to age it or drink it fresh, both are excellent options

 

Is there a strict rule in place, stating we have to start the 25th. I just realized the 25th and then 12 days takes it to the 4th / 5th. I would love to be able to start on the 23rd, to end Sunday the 3rd, because Monday starts a thing we do with our gym and I take the month (beginning the 4th) off from drinking until I can get back to where I need to be haha.

So that's technically not in the rules, but really the only thing it would effect is your sender's day assignments. If they assume your "Day 7" is NYE and packs you a 15%+ ABV bomber thinking it'll be perfect for the festivities, but you open it on Tuesday, that would throw things off. Also, a big part of this is everyone drinking/posting **** the same days as everyone else. I guess it'll come down to Dave & your sender?

worst case. I will stick to the plan. A beer Mon and Tues won't kill me in the scheme of things I guess!

 

I must not be good with Calendar. As I imagined it started Christmas and ended New Year's haha.

 

You can also post a request to your sender - if they've got smaller / lighter bottles already planned for the 12-days, maybe they can put them on Monday/Tuesday?

 

I am taking a different route......Some "light" wrapping paper for Light days and some "Dark" paper for the heavy days and let them figure out if they want to switch out. I also plan to have "Light" and "Dark" proper glassware.

Man I can't wait to send this beauty of a box out. As it stands, I will be hitting a bunch of new ticks, probably 11 or 12, many of them wants, all of them definitely "should be" wants. My hints have not yet resulted in the desired added wants as of some time this past weekend (another bonus hint). I think I am leaning towards a........Damn the torpedoes, full steam ahead!....approach. I think you will be happy, and a great High ABV beer is a beer be remembered fondly, yes?

Many of the extras will be wants as well.
