    Slap a sticker on it telling folks it's not as intended drop the price and move on. At least they did not up the price and call it sour Santa .

    Kudos to them for taking the hit though and standing behind what they sell

    Classy, but I liked their original plan that they posted to put it on sale in the gift shop with samples that could be tried before. Hey, maybe the sour notes are up some people's alley and they'll like it more. That being said, considering how important Christmas Ale is to the Great Lakes business, I don't blame them for wanting to protect the brand.

    Agreed, but a little notice would have been great. Not telling you until after bottles were supposed to go on sale? after a change to brewery only 12 hours before release? At least they didn't sell infected beer at $16 per bottle. My dad went down this morning. No one had answers and he said the sample didn't taste like christmas ale or barrel aged. Just a really light sour. Disappointing because I was really looking forward to this one.
