Does anyone know when the taproom opens? Or is it open yet?

I haven't heard a date as to when the tap room opens. The beers have shown up at Noble Fir, Beer Junction, Beer Authority and Pine Box so far.

I had a pour of Unreliable Narrator at The Masonry and was very impressed. It was one of the best beers I tasted while I was in town. I wish they would send some beer to SoCal.

Tasting room opens Thursday for the grand opening weekend. Wish I was closer to check it out.

Does Cloudburst have plans to bottle or can their beers?

They're a small operation right now, so I doubt there are plans for to do so in the future. The brewer has a BA account, so maybe he'll chime in.

Thanks. I'd love to see their beers down south one day.

When I was in the taproom this was asked, and it seemed like a pretty solid "no"...at least for the foreseeable future.

For those of you that have been in: A friend visited the other day, and posted a couple pics to FB. The beers were all very cloudy, New England-looking if you will. He said they were all tasty, but he was a bit put-off by the appearance. Has this been the experience of y'all too? I'm not a fan of the visuals of the turbid beers, but, as long as they're tasty, I'll survive.

My limited experience is that the IPAs I have had were a touch cloudy, but extremely bitter, so not a NE flavor profile.

I've had Cloudburst around town and also at the brewery. They might not be super clear, but they're not even close to hazy NE smoothie beer.

The picture on my friends FB post was of the Flashing Lights IPA, and it was a color just a bit on the brown side of orange juice. I was just wondering if it was an intentional attempt at a NEIPA?

I had it at Latona Pub, looking at my check-in picture on Untappd it's unfiltered and slightly hazy, but I still didn't think of it being like an Italian dressing smoothie lava lamp beer.

I agree with dirtylou, I thought the bitterness was (thankfully) bigger than the NE stuff I've had.

Visually, the only stuff I've had that looks like NE here in Seattle has been Holy Mountain.

The new brewery up here, Structures, had a NE looking beer on a couple weeks ago, pleasant enough, but the flavor was bit muted.

Urban Family's Best Laid Plans IPA is pretty cloudy/hazy. Some cans more so than others.

One can was kinda hazy orange, another can looked like carbonated trub. And the pint I had at the brewery was pretty clear.
