I'm game. It's my best friends fortieth birthday this week. I know he's popping Vanilla Rye. What should I bring?

 

Day 6 share: Vanilla Noir!

This was probably my favorite of the 6 days. Very strong vanilla in a good way, not the extract way.

This is a major, major want. @HoppySeb sent me one a while back (different year I believe) and I've been debating when to open it. Now I get to try two years! Such a great way to end the Turkey Sixer. Thanks @andreizm!

Wow, this is the 2nd de Garde @lefty17 has given me! Awesome stuff, so tart, I'm gonna be feeling the burn tomorrow for sure.

Sad to see this come to an end, @devilfluff really killed it such a great six days of beer drinking! Great way to end it with this nice sour farmhouse, so good. My wife is loving it, asking me if I can get more haha! Thanks again Jesse!

I absolutely loved this round. I would drink at least five of the six beers again (most of them repeatedly). They were interesting, delicious, the right ABV/oz mix to give a little bit (but not too much) of a buzz. Five different breweries, only one of which is in my distro (and New York and the shops I usually frequent have great distro). All new ticks. And the six days concept (making me drink my assigned beer on the assigned day) was a really good motivator for me (although now I have to catch up in the next week on a bunch of IPA's).

I've got a real love\hate relationship with you, but my boy has my back! h

However I'd totally be game to do this, I loathe hoarding. However perhaps the two biggest beers I own hopefully will be opened with @JNForsyth and @Mipper this Wednesday if I can make it.

 

I'm about to go back to watching football, but tried the link and it wanted me to sign in, then said I didn't have permission.

 

Kyle I am pretty sure these are no longer on the shelf but I can check later this week.

Day 6 - Casey Family Preserves Cherry - Since this morning I had been looking forward to it for so many reason and it crushed my expectations. This is fantastic! The cherry shines here. The mouthfeel is tart then sweet. The carbonation is unreal. This is a beer experience that I rarely have and the best comparison I have is with a local brewery in Brussels some of you may have heard of. I now understand why people want Casey and I hope that all of you get to try it at least once.

@vitaminvert , this has been an amazing six days and I feel privileged to have tried all the beers you sent me. Thank you very much. If I can get you something one day, please, just let me know.

Don't do it man, I've got plenty beer for the old lady. I spent 3 hours this weekend breaking down/recycling beer boxes so I'm good!
