No kidding. I find it odd that there's a $8-10 difference between them and discount for the bourbon I usually keep on hand at home, and it's not even an expensive bottle. I enjoy the gallery and the patio, but I rarely drive up there to just buy some beer.

I hit up Lakefront and then headed home. I'm sure I'll get to try most of the normal stuff around town on tap eventually.

Anybody know if the guy that bought 22 bottles of Rare from Sendiks in WFB is willing to sell any of those for face value or trade them? Sounds like that store got Franklin's allotment and it was sold before the regular beer guy showed up to make sure it got allocated.

    No limit. $10.49 a bottle, I believe.

So, no limits, but a guy has to buy something else Goose related to purchase bcbs?

I believe that guy was speaking about a different location. You can buy as much BCBS as you want.

Brunos is one bottle per Goose purchase. 2 bottles with 2 Goose items. Unless something has changed in the past 2 days that's how they do it.

Either way, that guy's an asshole.

It is illegal in Wisconsin to force someone to purchase a product to buy alcohol. Oh well the joke is on him, hopefully he reads this, I bought a case today without any questions.

You got a case from Brunos? I was wondering if his limits and GI 6pk tie in would change with how much regular was left. It sucks he requires a GI 6 pack, but it's all a numbers game now, and he is already working for better numbers for next year's bcs. Its the world we live in now.

A line started forming at Oak Creek at around 10:45, probably because everyone heard about how generous the other Woodmans were with their limits. They brought out the beer at 11:45 and said they were going to start selling early. There was probably 25-30 people in line.

Thanks for the clarification. Looks like I would have missed out anyway coming so late. I was there at 10:15 when they told me 1:00. If I had known people would be lining up, I may have stuck around. Probably not...

It's true. I spoke w the beer guy at WFB last night. The regular employees failed to RTFM and sold en masse before the beer folk showed up. The beer employees are PISSED.

Unreal! I assume this pathetic individual paid with a credit/debit card and we can find out their name. I demand justice!

And if you want to try to use the excuse you didn't know it was that rare....read the label. It's right on the bottle!

Are you for real? I completely disagree. I don't know any of my friends that would have done the same and they all have the discretionary income to fork out the $1,400. It's simply wrong to clean out a store of all 22 bottles when it's such a limited release. Those 22 bottles would be the absolute worst tasting beers in my entire life just knowing what I did to get them.

If you take 6 bottles or even 12, fine, I still don't agree, but all 22. Come on!

Have you seen some of the posts in the 'hauls' thread on this site? It would absolutely happen. Let's not pretend whale chasers are the paragons of virtue.
