Yes it is. It's also not a lambic, so not a beer I was talking about.

I thought all oude gueuzes were lambics?

I don't remember which one it was, but the Destihl Wild Sour beers really got me to like them.

By style, they are Gueuze. If you want to consider gueuze and lambic the same style, that's fine too, but I'm pretty sure everyone knew I was referring to their fruited lambics either way and not to Faro or CR.

Still haven't quite gotten into sours aside from gose and berliner weisse, but Ithaca cayuga cruiser got me into them. Really makes me wish there were more similarly priced examples of the style available in CT to crush during the summer. There are plenty of $5+ 500ml bottles, but not many Gose/ Berliner weisse sixpacks/4 packs of tall boys (though two roads/evil twin geyser gose has been fitting that bill nicely).

Petrus Aged Pale was my first sour. I didn't much care for it at first, but I retried it a couple more times and it grew on me.

Jolly Pumpkin La Roja and Rodenbach got me started. Nothing but sours in all styles for the last 10 years, now.

A dusty bottle of this on sale in the bottom shelf of a liquor store in NJ was what got me interested. After trying 3F's Oude Geuze I was hooked.

James Beer did it for me. My local tap house (Brown Iron Brew House in North Macomb County Mi) always has four sours in their rotation and James Beer finally did it. I'm still not sure what clicked with this beer but I'm hooked on just about any sour I can find with The Bruery sours being my go to.
