I would rather spend 5-10 extra minutes driving as long as I'm in motion than sitting and waiting to move.

I once thought I knew how to get onto 28 from the one tunnel, but I ended up circling Heinz Field after a game. I don't go that way anymore.

There's always a book or magazine on my passenger seat; I read at red lights.

I actually saw this article linked on someone's fb page a few days ago. The original article goes a little more in depth than the one you posted but both get the same point across as to how desolate and barren that place is now. Very sad seeing it like that, as that was a big part of my childhood / high school years.

If they ever tear down Century III Mall, how will anyone know where Century III Chevrolet is?

I was a sad panda to find out that they were out of Project Pam when I stopped by Shadyside last night. Let me know if you guys see it around town please! I have bottles for me in MI but i'd love to try it soon.

Let's please do that together. Would be an 80s movie dream of mine come true.

Thought about hosting a huge rave there, because apparently: who the fuck would notice? Could retire off the ticket sales.

What beer would you have there? If it's Spoonwood, I'm out.

There is no way that mall is worse than the Schuylkill Mall from where I grew up. Same level of emptiness, but The Schuylkill mall is dirty and has no stores. this place looks super nice from the photos.

Just got back last night from a few days back east at my parents' place + buck season. My dad has been telling me about this "amazing" bottle shop not terribly far from their house for months now. Getting to travel for work and ending up in all sorts of cool places has made me jaded to this sort of thing so I set my expectations low. I walk in and do my lap around. Shelves filled with Avery BA beers, Almanac sours, Cascade sours, 2+ cases of Bitter Monk among other Anchorage beers, Funky Buddha, Hill Farmstead, and Nogne on draft, the most extensive section of belgians I've ever seen, tons of Bruery, Cigar City, and so many others I'm forgetting. I can honestly say it was the best bottle shop I've ever been in. I doubt that many (read as any) of you would have a reason to be in NEPA but if you do, don't miss Sabatini's Pizza in Exeter. Just incredible.

I would not like to see my bill after strolling through that place.

Not entirely that far from Hazleton, where I occasionally travel for work; seems worth the extra mile next time I'm there.

Got some La Trappe and Achel for my brother in law. Bought a couple of Almanac sours for @shuggy and myself (Citra x2 and Simcoe x2). 4pk of Death by Coconut, 1x Uncle Jacob's Stout, a 6er of a local IPA, Xocoveza, and a few others for ~120. Almanac Sours were 10.99 which I thought was pretty reasonable.

Under an hour for sure. I'd guess in the 40-50 minute range depending on where in Hazelton.

Love Uncle Jacob's! Such an underrated stout.
